Dan has collected Antiques since the age of sixteen. His passion for color and design came to life during the eight years of ownership of the Pace House Inn, Franklin, Virginia. A thirteen thousand Grand home owned by W. T. Pace was a respese for all who entered! Dan's hospitality was formed early from his Norfolk beginnings as he grew under the love and direction of his parents Jim and Ann Hunt.
Choose from a variety of styles of furniture. We buy at auctions and estates. We have a unique selection of custom pieces, art, tables, dining tables, lighting, sofas, mirrors, rugs, and chairs. Mid century, Vintage and Antiques, Ghent Antiques has a large selection and you're sure to find what you're looking for.
Whether downsizing or needing to disperse the belongings of someone who has deceased, we can make the transition easy. After the estate sale contract is signed, the first step is our professional team coming to your home to determine the price of every item that needs to be sold. Second, the date of the estate sale will be set at the convenience of the client and available dates for the Ghent Antiques staff.

We will determine if your item or items are something that we can sell for you, suggest a price (sometimes a little research is required to determine what similar items are selling for at auctions, E-bay, Amazon) for you to consider.
Dan Hunt was the rst one to return my request for information. I literally mean within minutes of the posting. I could tell from our rst conversation over the phone I was going to hire him to help me sell my collections. We made an appointment to meet and discuss my options. Within days we had a plan.

Ghent Antiques, located on the always bustling Colley Ave, is a fine little antique shop with some real gems in it. From 19th century bibles to Chinese sculptures to elaborate oil paintings, Ghent Antiques offers antique aficionados a wide range of treasures to discover. The woman who owns the store is infinitely personable and can speak to the history and authenticity of each piece.
While some of the prices may appear daunting to the casual buyer, the owner is open to negotiations. If you're wandering Colley Ave and want to pop into a genuine antique shop with some personality and charm

A great new shop in town, the lady who owns it is very sweet and has a little dog with her. She know the history about nearly every piece, but it's an antique store of literal antiques-- like real, EXPENSIVE antiques. Very cool pieces if you're looking for something real from history, but you need a decent budget range for it. If she doesn't have what you're looking for, she'll point you in a direction where you might find it.
