I hadn't eaten here in years and during our visit I was excited to introduce my kids to "real New York pizza"!
But it was a bit disappointing to be honest.
We had ordered two flavor pizzas and one was so bland it was shocking. Chicken wing pizza shouldn't taste better in North Carolina but compared to the one we had here...it does. There was virtually no sauce or flavor whatsoever ever.
The pepperoni had a good sauce flavor but was really sort of reminiscent of grade school pizza days.
The antipasto salad looked great like it always has been. I didn't get to try

I have been eating Capri pizza ever since I took dance classes up overhead the shop, like 30 years. Call me a softy, but I love Sal's place. His son has done a good job at keeping the family recipes. I love your pie, Sicilian, garlic and my fav...your calzones. You have added desserts and I am a big fan of them. Carry a wide variety of beverages, pure leaf tea. Thank you. Great service with a smile. I am always pleased and glad to see the business prosper. I highly suggest eating at Capri. Eat in or take out.
