Orrin and company were very responsive in coming out to give us an estimate for removing five trees from our backyard. He seem knowledgeable, competent and easy to work with. He gave us a competitive bid and promptly scheduled the work for just a few days later. His crew was polite, professional and friendly. They did a great job, including being very thorough in removing the root systems in addition to the trees. Many large rocks were embedded in the base and roots of the trees. In order to grind the tree stumps, Orrin's team broke down the rocks and removed them at no additional cost

Malama Tree Care is efficient, friendly, affordable, and capable, and Orrin is a total pro. He answered our call and scheduled to come assess our property and needs in the same day. He noticed things that have been nagging us about our citrus trees - why are they yellowing? (Chlorosis, that's why.) He told us how to rid our avocados of avo lace bugs which have voraciously attacked our mature trees this past season (Neem oil sprayed regularly every two weeks); he identified some volunteer palms (Royals), and he and his team came out as scheduled, worked amazingly quickly and thoroughly to remove

Unfortunately, after a great start helping me w/free suggestions, he never followed through. Two calls unanswered and then when I finally got him he said to call HIM back because he was so busy. Hey, I already called twice Orin? His referred yard trim clean up guy never returns me calls either. I wasted a lot of time and really wanted to hire him but he just never followed through!

We were looking at pruning our mango and jabong trees. Excellent service and work. Orrin is wonderful and gave us a ton of advice on care for the trees too. He is also certified. No pressure sales. Pruning to create a lower canopy so it will be easier to pick mangos in the future. They did not trim it to the point of being barren too. He really showed his knowledge and concern for the trees. They also cleaned up taking all the debris with them even blowing all the dust too.
We will definitely continue to use Malama Trees in the future and highly recommend them to everyone.

Came out to give me a quote on a tree removal on a tree I believed needed to be removed immediately.
I was informed that the tree did not require immediate removal but was given a quote I believed to be fair.
He also provided some other recommendations.
I will look to use his services after avacado season.

We had 3 different company look at our mango tree that needed to some trimmings, of course we got 3 different prices. Orrin at Malama tree care did not give us the lowest price that we could afford but because he made the biggest impression we chose them.. Orrin stopped by to take a look at our mango tree and showed us that he really cared and is very knowledgeable about what he does. And mostly enjoys what he does. His team showed up on the dot and was done in less than 2 hours. Besides couple mango tree leaves that he left behind ( I had to clean up after) I would recommend Orrin and his team

Called a handful of tree trimming companies and these guys were the only ones who actually gave me a call back . Orrin was a very kind and was able to get me a quote the very next day. Knowledgeable and informative. Expedient and friendly service. These are some of the words that come to mind when I think of Malama Tree Care. We had an invasive tree presenting a potential hazard to an overhead electrical line. I called Orrin for a consult and his crew addressed the issue immediately providing our family with peace of mind....they even left some mulch for the chicken coop and yard. I can't say enough about his patience with all my questions and professionalism throughout the process and would highly recommend.
