I fell in love with the beauty world at the age of 16, when it became a way for me to express myself and channel my creativity.
I have always seen makeup as an art and love that I am able to create art everyday. I have also always been fond of the idea of owning my own business, and so, to help make that dream a reality, I attended Quinnipiac University and received my Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship. I started my makeup career in 2013 when I became certified in Makeup Artistry.

At Beauty by Chelsea Dae, it is our main goal and passion to make you and your bridal party look and feel as beautiful as possible! We truly care about each and every one of our clients, so you can trust that we will do our absolute best to make you happy. Our signature makeup style is Naturally Glamorous, so you still look and feel like yourself, just enhanced.
Beauty by Chelsea Dae offers either one-on-one or group makeup lessons. During your makeup lesson, Chelsea will go through your current makeup collection, discuss what works and what doesn't, recommend new products, and teach you how to do your makeup step-by-step. Makeup lessons are available in-studio.
During your lash lift and tint appointment, I will temporarily apply silicone curling rods and a two-step lifting system to lift your natural lashes, making them look longer and fuller! I will then apply a Belmacil tint of your choosing (black, blue-black, dark brown, or light brown), which will darken your lashes and give the look of mascara!
During your Eyelash Extension appointment, I will apply single classic lashes or handmade volume fans to each natural, healthy eyelash that you have. Classic eyelash extensions will give you the most natural, mascara-like look while volume eyelash extensions will give you the fullest, most dramatic look.
A brow wax and shape at Beauty by Chelsea Dae is sure to be unlike any wax you've had before! First, we trim your brows, which keeps them looking tame and in place. Then, we wax. At Beauty by Chelsea Dae, we use a sensitive wax so it is near painless and doesn't leave your skin extremely red or irritated.

Chelsea was AMAZING!!! As someone who doesn't wear makeup she took my idea and gave me the perfect look for my day! She was also super organized sending out a schedule and a list of how to prep our skin for the day of. She was even able to accommodate a day of request for an additional person for us which I greatly greatly appreciate. I can't recommend Chelsea enough.

I cannot recommend Beauty by Chelsea Dae enough for bridal hair/makeup! I stumbled upon Chelsea’s Instagram after looking at makeup/hair stylists near my wedding venue (Westbrook CT). I was really drawn to her natural makeup looks and booked her services as quickly as I could! Chelsea and Alyssa (hairstylist) we’re AMAZING. They were very patient with me during my hair and makeup trial and answered all of my questions! They arrived on time on my wedding day and were extremely efficient. I am a well known licensed lash artist and esthetician in the area. Chelsea has been doing my lash extensions for a while now, and I couldn’t say enough great things about her!
