My name is Lauren Simpson and I'm the owner of LA Page Makeup. I've been providing makeup services to CT and New England for over 10 years and have found nothing lights up my world more than serving clients and giving them the confidence to shine! I am a dog lover, cheese is my kryptonite, and Netflix is seriously the best way to chill.
Something I truly believe in is you can never stop learning; education in any industry can only help you expand and grow. I have traveled throughout Connecticut and more styling brides on their special day. Being part of something so special is where my passion drives from. To make someone feel beautiful is truly a gift and there is no greater reward than a happy client.
Whether you're looking to clean up your brows, lengthen your lashes, or learn how to do makeup yourself, we got you covered! Lauren is one of the kindest people I know. We met through a networking group over a year ago and every time I see her she makes me smile. She is truly a joy to be around, and her work is of the highest caliber, beautiful and professional.

I don't know about you, but having curled, super mascara coated eyelashes is my personal favorite part about my makeup application. What if I told you you could get the same look that lasts 6-8 weeks without ever having to use an eyelash curler or mascara again? When you book a lash lift and tint appointment, you can expect a comfortable process that takes about an hour and creates results that last on average 6-8 weeks.

Lauren and her glam squad (Vanessa and Patty) were absolutely phenomenal…made me and my bridal party look absolutely stunning. Lauren and her team are very professional, talented and super nice! Covid may have changed my wedding plans but I was lucky enough too book Lauren for both my actual wedding day and then a year later for my wedding reception! If you haven’t done so already check out Lauren’s makeup line…you won’t be disappointed. My favorite go to lipstick shades are lustrous latte mixed with magical mauve. Lauren you are a gem!

I cannot recommend Lauren & her team enough! I would 120% use them again for any event I need makeup or hair done, which says a lot for me! And will shout their praises to anyone who will listen. I could tell from my first emails and my makeup trial that Lauren had exactly the vibe I wanted around me on my wedding day - calm, but upbeat and cheerful and that's exactly what she and Tegan delivered. I could see myself being friends with them both! Lauren & Tegan did hair and makeup for myself plus 4 bridesmaids, MOB, and flower girl and we all loved our final looks! They created and kept the schedule

Lauren was absolutely amazing! Being a novice with makeup, I knew I needed to have my makeup done for my engagement photoshoot. From the moment I reached out to her she was super accommodating to fit me into her schedule. She went above and beyond and booked the appointment on a day she is normally off. Lauren made me feel super comfortable and knew what look I was going for even without me being able to explain it properly. I highly recommend Lauren for all your makeup needs!

Lauren is a special person and I couldn't be more grateful that we chose LA Page Makeup for both hair and makeup services. Her sweet personality complemented her passion for her work. We also had the pleasure to work with Tegan for hair. Tegan is also a wonderful person and together, they made us feel so comfortable the day of the wedding. Their calming presence, genuine demeanor and warm-heartedness truly put me at ease. They went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable and relaxing. I am starting a business and wanted a makeup consultation to create a more polished image. Lauren came highly recommended and for good reason. She is very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very personable. She worked with me to create the look that I wanted, instructed me on how to achieve the effects, where to get the brushes and makeup that was right for my skin, and even sent me the links to easily find them. Lauren and Alicia R did my makeup and hair for my wedding day, and they were extremely talented and focused on making sure I felt comfortable with the look while being compliant with their Covid 19 guidelines. I felt amazing because of them, and had so many compliments. From the first meeting with them at my trial, they made me feel so at ease, I can’t say enough great things! I HIGHLY recommend Lauren for all things beauty and makeup...but I specifically went to her in July for her lash lift & tint service. My eyelashes are pretty light and I always feel like I look half asleep with no mascara on. I decided to splurge on a “treat yourself!” day and oh my goodness, what a difference!!! Not only were the results amazing, but the process was easy and comfortable. Lauren is a true professional and was a delight to work with! I highly recommend this service!
