I stayed at the Barefoot Bungalow earlier this month. I loved it so very much. It was exactly what I wished for. A perfect little piece of heaven. I think the three days I was there, I only watched two hours of tv. The rest was spent staring at the ocean or walking along the beach. You fall asleep to the waves crashing outside. The host Linda is a doll. My unit had everything you can possibly need to make your stay comfy. The bed was super comfortable too! Thank you so much!

Heaven on earth. We were lucky enough to spend this weekend there, a super generous gift from an amazing friend. We got the bottom floor suites (best of the best) and we are already counting the days until we go back! Overwhelmingly gorgeous "views" (hard to call them "views" when you can literally walk out your door and onto the beach) with the sweetest, friendliest staff. Can't wait to make this an annual (or more!) tradition!

I wish I could give this place a million stars. I booked this property through Airbnb and my host was Lisa. She was a doll.
The view. It speaks for itself. It's worth every penny, seriously.
You have beach chairs, umbrellas and even boogie boards to your access.
Inside you have everything you need to cook. Including all things like , pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker's. You name it, it's there.
Beach towels, bath towels, hair dryer. Blanket, pillows for days. A air mattress. Shampoo, conditioner, soap.
It's safe here. Everyone is friendly.

You can’t find a better location in Carlsbad!! I love this beautiful property. It sits right on the beach for out-the- door access. All rooms come with a kitchenette so it you want a snack or need Bathroom break just walk to your room then back to fun in the sun. An easy walk to the lovely assortment of restaurants, bars and shops of Carlsbad .
It is a quiet, comfortable and restful property with friendly and accommodating staff.

Cute little beach front hotel. Quiet, and laid back, a perfect get away from busy life. Sleeping with the sound of waves is so peaceful. Room had everything. If you get a room on the bottom floor, you can literally walk from your bed to the water in 30 seconds. If you are from out of state, I def recommend this spot. Not many places in So Cal have that much beach almost all to yourself.

I have had the worst experience trying to cancel my reservation at this place. They won't promptly refund you nor take the necessary steps to ensure your cancellation is swiftly processed prior to the allowable date for a full refund. Don't be misled by the photos of the condos. If you run into any issues, you'll be sh*t out of luck because customer service is not their strong suit at all.

We are inland California, but have never stayed overnight on the ocean. This rental is literally on the ocean and you can’t get any closer. Waking up to the ocean (and the beautiful sounding seagulls) nearly at your door step is unmatched. And the sun sets were the most beautiful and clear we’ve seen. The manager, Lisa,was staying on-site our weekend and greeted us with such enthusiasm and was so sweet to our toddler. We believe the owner was onsite too and he was very pleasant as well. Very dog friendly and kid friendly first floor. We highly recommend this property and will be back quarterly

I came here for a birthday weekend & I must say from the accommodation to the staff - everything was awesome. Ed and Lisa are the nicest people I've ever come across. The rooms are spacious and they have just about everything to help you travel light. Really nice ocean views and very convenient access to the beach.

Location..Location..Location.. on the sand in North County San Diego and just steps from charming downtown Carlsbad Village and all it has to offer with shops and restaurants. We happen to be going to the Carlsbad Village Playhouse tonight..The condo is neat and clean, with a phenomenal view and all the supplies needed to cook a modest holiday meal.. So happy to be spending Easter here..
Booking was seemless and the staff was extremely helpful.. Even carried my bags up stairs:)

I wish I could actually give this company zero stars... I found them through VRBO. I gave them a call personally to ask them some questions and talked to a lady named Christine. She told me I didn't need to go through VRBO and to go to their website and I can do everything through there or I can talk to her and she would handle all of the booking. I normally do go to hotels. But I wanted to try something different this time by getting a condo. This was the worst first time experience that I've ever had getting a rental. This owner was absolutely horrible about getting back to me. Horrible

We really enjoyed staying here! It is not a 5 star luxury suite but the location makes up for it! Ocean front, sand at your feet accommodations. And walking distance to the town which was great for meals and shopping. It has a queen size bed, kitchen area, with stove, microwave, dishwasher, table & 4 chairs, Couch, TV, & bathroom. Management was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely return.

Amazing relaxing vacation on the sand. Every condo has a breathtaking view of the ocean. Beach is clean and although public not crowded. Condos are fully equipped and if you need anything extra Kurt will go out of his way to supply it. Free laundry facilities on property made packing up to come home so much easier. We won't stay anywhere else after finding this perfect get away.

I love this place. It's SO peaceful. I stayed here for a few nights in March and am planning to go back over Labor Day.
My room was steps from the sand, I could see the ocean from the comfy sofa in my studio, and hear the waves at night. The staff were friendly and helpful.
If you want to stay on the beach it doesn't get much better than this!
