We are a family owned and operated business located in Chicago, Illinois. We have over twenty five years experience in custom wrought iron design, manufacturing, and installation. Principal Richard Szpara has been practicing independently for over two decades. He heads a small shop, consisting of experienced craftsman who create hand-forged ornamental railings, furniture, gates, and fencing in iron, bronze, stainless steel and aluminum.

Definitely recommending ArtMet Custom Iron Works. They worked with me on the amount of money I wanted to spend and options. Also painted my outer iron gate to make it all match - without me asking for it! My brand new Custom Iron Fence looks wonderful and not like a prison! (Biggest fear) Door done earlier than expected with quick installation. There is now an added barrier between my children and anyone who comes to the door... We have had so many positive comments from friends. Love the "screen" effect with the iron--looking forward to having it open in the fall. Will defintely have
