I am a professional Early Childcare Educator with more than 17 years of experience in Child Development and Early Education. I hold a Child Development Teacher Permit.
Services
All children have the right to receive the highest quality care available. Penny & Bear Family Childcare not only offers quality care but also affordable rates. We provide weekly/daily full time (up to 10 hours) and Part time (up to 6 hours) care, that accommodates to each parent's needs. In the infant room we enrich the life of babies with language. We listen, imitate and respond to the sounds they make, as these are the beginnings of their communication. We provide many baby safe books to spark their interest in literature and the spoken world. We provide many tummy time opportunities without making it overwhelming for the babies.
At Penny & Bear Family Childcare we believe education is the key to success. We are CPR certified and have Child Development training and courses. As a Provider and Owner, I have gone the extra mile to get my site rated by the Fresno County Early Stars Program, I have also obtained a CDA Credential and California Teacher's Permit to ensure I have the knowledge, training and excellent site needed to provide quality care and offer a great service.

Wow! I have nothing but great experiences with Dafne! She cared and loved for my daughter so much in this daycare! Made her homemade meals daily for snacks and lunches, read books, helped her advance in learning skills appropriate for each age group as the time went on. My daughter loved going to daycare to the point she would never want to come home! Penny and Bear is a daycare you wouldn’t want to miss out on! Dafne is also bilingual and would teach my daughter how to say things in English and Spanish! Best learning environment and did I mention she has degrees for business and child development

Daphne is AMAZING. She has a very loving and warm personality, while also being professional and dedicated.
My daughter loves going to daycare. The food is home cooked, and the actual daycare is better equipped than most preschools. She uses a great curriculum and stays current in the child development field, which is very important to me.
She has a whole section of the house that is exclusively for the daycare, so it looks and feels more like a preschool, but still has the comfort of a home.
Daphne is bilingual (Spanish) and my daughter is learning to speak it as well. I can't say enough good
