Our 63-bedroom community is located on four beautiful acres in Carmichael California. Our spacious private and shared studio apartments offer excellent views of mature landscaping and colorful courtyards.
We provide specialized care plans specific to the unique needs of each resident. Was hired by this company and was on the books before I was even cleared to work. My first day to work they said be their at 2:30pm. I get a call that says it was 6:30am when I have morning class. First red flag! Get their at 2:30 and dont get to work until 20 min later. While I'm training I notice it is a SKILLED not assisted living. Second red flag! The E.D Kris belongs in her memory care unit. I would not recommend anyone work or live there. The kitchen staff puts their hands in the food while handing it out. And their meds are not even locked up properly.

Place is horrible, I would never let my family live here or recommend this place. I worked here for several months, I witnessed a caregiver abusing a resident and reported it to Kris. She then pulled me and the girl in her office and made me confront the girl and tell her that I reported her (very unprofessional) the next day I went to work, worked the whole day and as I was leaving work she called me in her office and gave me my final check told me I was fired and wouldn't give me a reason. Tried to deny my unemployment but couldn't provide any reasons for firing me so the had to pay my unemployment

Mom had been in a Nursing Home in Paradise CA after having a heart attack in July. With dementia present, we had been looking for an Assisted Living residence for her- one that had Memory Care on site in case it was eventually needed. When the Nursing Home surprised us with a discharge only a week away, Mom began exhibiting strange behavior, which I attributed to stress over not having a place to go. The care is very poor, food is terrible, the caregivers abuse the residents and steal monies out of their wallets. The Director or Administrator (what ever she calls herself) is the most unfriendliest person I have ever met. She is so mean to the residents it is unbelievable. All this place cares about is the big, fat check they are going to get at the end of the month.
