Jan & Rays has been A BIG relief for my family. As working parents it's hard to leave your child at daycare where you don't have any idea what goes on. I was very skeptical about sending him to Jan & Rays because it was something different being in a home, BUT it was by far the BEST choice I had ever made for myself as well as my son!

Finding a daycare that will treat your children as well as you do is not the easiest task... but that’s not the case with Almost Home. Almost Home has been caring for our 2 year old since she has been 6 months old and we couldn’t be happier. In fact, when searching for our new home, being close to our daycare was one of the most important factors for us! We can’t wait for our littlest daughter to start there soon. Look no further.

My daughter started at Almost Home at 7-months old. She is now 3.5 years old. She is learning in a loving, happy environment with excellent care. The staff is very diligent about each and every child’s different personality needs. I highly recommend Almost Home.

We have had our 3 year old daughter at Almost Home for most of her life. We have found all of the staff to be caring, responsible, responsive, and most importantly they absolutely love the kids. We have always felt our daughter is safe and well cared for at almost home. And the hours are great for working parent. We would recommend Almost Home to any parent!

We felt comfortable with Almost Home the moment we stepped into the building. The director, Fran, covered every detail during our tour and made us feel super comfortable and confident in our decision to choose Almost Home as the child care center for our little one. We feel as comfortable as a parent can dropping off our little one every day. The classrooms are clean and filled with fun stimulating toys. Staff are engaging and friendly. The video surveillance lets us check in through out the day and calms our first time parent nerves. Our little one has progressed so much since being at Almost

My 2yr old son has been going to Almost Home for over a year and we love all things Almost Home. Having to return to work and leaving my son in someone else's care was such a hard thing- but Almost Home made it easier. The staff is amazing. Miss. Essence and Miss. Ellen go above and beyond to create a fun, clean class room that inspires imaginative play. They think of fun crafts ( like the Zoo wall over the course of the month where they had the kids created elephants, zebras, etc). They always bring them outside on nice days and on rainy days bring the kids into a large room full of mats and push

Our son started at Almost Home just a few months ago and he is already like one of the family. I really appreciate their atmosphere. It has a family feel while still being professional and other teachers, outside of the room that he is in, know him and interact with him. I love that I can check in on my child via video throughout the day and when I drop him off he is happy to see his teachers and often when I pick him up he is cuddling with them. Such a relief as a working mom to have a place like this!

Almost Home has been a great experience for us and for our daughter. She is safe, engaged and happy at the end of each day. She has access to age appropriate learning materials and as she prepares to transition into Kindergarten this year I'm confident that she is prepared. Our son also gets transported to elementary school each day by Almost Home transportation. It is safe, reliable and fun transport for him and it is a relief to know he is good hands each morning on the commute.

We have been an Almost Home for over two years and we love it! The teachers are wonderful and take such good care of our children. They are so friendly and make my kids feel safe and comfortable. Fran is calm, organized and reliable. The rooms are clean and bright, and they spend plenty of time outdoors.

Our daughter has gone to Almost Home for nearly four years. Directors Fran and Bunny are amazingly helpful and beyond caring. Teachers are great. I cannot recommend this daycare enough to parents who are looking for a place for their children to grow and learn while they have to be away from them while at work. We will soon be moving out of state and we will truly miss everyone here at Almost Home. If you're considering a daycare in Ridgefield you must put this one at the top of your list.
