It all started with window treatments. Joe Hyman (known as Papa Joe) started a family business in New York City in the 1930's. He brought the first bamboo blinds/shades into the U.S. and popularized them across the country. Since then, bamboo roman shades and venetian (mini) blinds have remained a staple of our business today.

I ordered replacement keys from this company and paid for second day air. It took four days to receive the keys. i emailed Lou to ask for a credit back, and he flat out denied me.
He told me that it was 2 days form clearance of paperwork received, so I sent the email with the clearance status. That email was dated on a Thursday at 7 am. My keys arrived Tuesday evening, so that is most definitely four days. Best case, it's three. Definitely not two. The service and communication was decent. Just think that ripping customers off is never good business practice.

This review is based solely on the plastic roll up blinds, available at Walmart stores.
They fall apart. The strings that are sewn to attach each little plastic strip fall apart.
I suggest unrolling it and inspecting it before you go to the trouble of hanging it. The triangle "hanging rings" are TOO SMALL to get them easily on a hook. I agree.

I bought the outdoor patio plastic shades. I am a avid handyman and I had difficulty putting them up. The triangular rings are too small, making it difficult to hang. The rings are off center and are different lengths apart. The string that lifts the shade is not held in by anything at the bottom and it comes out on the two sides. The plastic part that holds the string in place at the top, pulls right through the other piece. These blinds are poorly made. I do not recommend them. Made in China; no wonder.
