I started Wild and Found Photography because I want to empower couples to celebrate the big moments in their relationship in a way that reflects who they really are. Based on my experience, especially with elopements and microweddings, couples need more than just a photographer.

My name is Kim (that beautiful floofer next to me is Evey), and I'm a Colorado-based couples photographer! I specialize in adventurous elopements, microweddings, and proposals. As much as I love my own adventures, I also love helping couples plan their own unique experiences. And of course, capturing these intimate, once-in-a-lifetime moments so you can relive them over and over.
I've made it a personal goal of mine to be a go-to resource for helping couples plan the best day of their lives. The epic day that your love story deserves. We reached out to Kim for a small micro-wedding we were planning about 4 months out and from the get-go she was responsive, friendly, and had a very organized way about her. Her process is detail-oriented and she uses thoughtful questionnaires to learn about you and your partner, what's most important to you both, and what type of photos you prefer. She is the best photographer / "wedding planner" I didn't know we needed ;) Her location ideas were phenomenal - truly unique and custom tailored to who we are and our relationship. Kim was fantastic to work with from beginning to end. She was so helpful with making the experience for my surprise proposal to be everything I had hoped it to be. Kim was quick to respond, and was very flexible with scheduling due to unexpected weather conditions. We are so thankful for Kim.

Kim is wonderful to work with. She was immensely helpful in finding both a cabin for us to stay in and a nearby location for additional photos (which came out gorgeous!!). When planning, she was responsive and helpful, and on the day of, she was on time and ready to make the most of our time together. Plus, we felt really comfortable with her photography style and felt like we could pay attention to each other, not posing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We had a last minute choice of turning a birthday getaway into a Colorado Elopement. We couldn’t have hoped to get a photographer on such short notice let alone one with an amazing eye! She was timely, thorough, reassuring, and went above and beyond! We changed location choices and found a hidden gem that left us with unbelievable results!! Well worth putting those professional shots of timeless memories into your budget and as nervous as we were, she made it feel easy. Our edits were given way before expected and left with a difficult job of narrowing it down! Just do it🤗

We are so thankful that we selected Kim to be our destination elopement photographer. Having never been to Colorado before, Kim provided guidance and suggestions not only for our elopement but for the rest of our vacation. She was patient with us as we analyzed ceremony and photo session sites and gave her honest input on factors such as crowds and lighting. We ultimately had our elopement ceremony at Garden of the Gods Resort followed by a photo session at Paint Mines Interpretive Park. Kim is super talented and our pictures came out phenomenal. Kim was incredible to work with! She was adventurous enough to meet my fiance and I at 6am in the Rockies to get an engagement session with natural lighting from the morning sun. We spent hours hiking the mountain while she gave us occasional direction for some spectacular shots. The entire session felt effortless! We had a blast, laughing the entire time.
Shortly after, we received the photos and OMG! We were blown away!!!
