So, I actually graduated from the University of Memphis (Go Tigers!) with a degree in International Business and Foreign Languages. Nothing to do with photography at all, really. I had intended on living abroad with a fancy corporate job where I wore Chanel and had super sophisticated international friends who all met up every Wednesday to drink expensive wine.
With your blood, sweat, and tears. You worked the grueling looooooong days, spent countless dollars, bought the business cards, and finally opened your doors only to find. Of course, everyone will see what a great product it is, rush through the doors demanding all of the goodies you can possibly give them, pay you millions of dollars, and then of course rave about you to all of their rich friends.
5. Picture-wise, I care more that me and my fiance look like ourselves as a couple than some weird pose I found on a blog where we are looking all serious and there's a weird teepee behind us. Ya know, just as an example. But for real, I don't get those. Is the teepee an alter? Are we camping? And I just want to ask the bride why she is so unhappy looking when it's her wedding day?! Because, you know, this isn't a magazine.

I hired Madison to take my author headshot, and she was fantastic! I'm a bit awkward in photos, but you can't tell that in the photos she took. She was such a pro at making me feel relaxed and natural. And the photos she took were all so good, I had a hard time choosing one to go with! I definitely recommend her and would hire her again.

Madison did a wonderful job with our brand photography shoot for our graphic design studio! I loved her attention to detail and she made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera! We hired Maddie as our wedding photographer, and we were in love with her photos way before we ever hired her. She actually did the photos for a friend's wedding, and one of the photos from that wedding was so beautiful and artistic that we fell in love instantly. I can tell you she delivered in a big way.
After we hired her, she met with us for brunch, and we discussed what our wants for the day. I'll admit, I was initially shocked to see the cost for wedding photography in general when I started my wedding planning journey, but I can tell you her prices were in line with other photographers

First, I'd like to try and qualify my opinion on wedding photographers: I've been in 24 weddings as a groomsmen, so I've seen a LOT of pro photographers on hectic wedding days. This time, I had an infinitely more vested interest in both the quality of the photographs, and the working relationship with the photographer .... because now I was the groom (or as my parents would say: "finally, the groom").

I have two words for Anyone looking for a fabulous photographer... BOOK HER!!!! Maddie is a great photographer and I always want her to take care of my photography needs. My husband and I got married a year and a half ago and my photos are fabulous and the best decision we could've made! My best friend got married last November and I was her wedding planner and insisted they use her! They were very pleased as well. Don't make a mistake when it comes to photography! BOOK HER!

Not just for weddings - we used Maddie Moree for pictures to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. She has a keen eye for settings and natural lighting that result in beautiful photographs. Madison was awesome from the start. I felt like I gained a new friend after it was over. Hey Maddie, want to hang out? Anyway, she is incredibly skilled and has a great eye, she's a lot of fun and can come up with ideas for unique photos, or traditional, or modern and "boho" which I what I kept asking for! Our wedding was at the pink palace, which is not an easy venue since it's totally empty and has a weird lay out. There were several points at our reception when the "director" disappeared. Maddie could see the fear and panic in my eyes and immediately stepped up and saved the day by directing

Maddie is the epitome of what a wedding photographer should be. Aside from the fact that you get wonderful shots, she's fun, laid-back, and best of all... she listens. On a big day where you're stressed about the little things, she knows what you want because she's taken the time to talk with you about everything. She was the one person I didn't have to worry about because she was getting the job done. When my earring broke immediately before the wedding, she took hers out so I didn't have to go without. That's the kind of person she is. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone who is looking

Maddie was great to work with. My husband and I didn't get any engagement photos and our wedding photos were so-so, so we wanted to get something done that make us proud to hang on the wall.
She was very responsive on email and always ready to help! She was very helpful with poses and stances for us in front of the camera. (Both of us are pretty awkward in those situations.) The photos turned out amazing and I am so happy with them! Now I've just got to decide which ones to frame...

Madison did our engagement session and wedding pictures. Not only is she talented but she's a lot of fun! She was also very accommodating and helpful as we were moving from Washington State to Maryland and were only in Memphis for short periods of time. She truly does great work. My husband and I cannot be anymore happy with how our pictures turned out! I definitely recommend her, Memphis!

Maddie was flexible, affordable, and took great shots of me and my fiancee. She knew some great spots downtown and was a good pose director. She had no weird rules about how many photos I could have or print she just gave me the USB with all the best shots on it. I would highly recommend her for any special occasion you may have!
