Morsels Espresso + Eatables, an independent, specialty bakery and espresso bar began in 2008 in the heart of downtown Traverse City. In 2012, Morsels moved to a larger, beautiful building at the east end of downtown, with one-of-a-kind views along the banks of the Boardman River, overlooking West Grand Traverse Bay.
The shop, which now has a cozy fireplace inside, and outdoor patio and deck, all with gorgeous views, has won many accolades for the original and unique bite-sized baked goods and exemplary coffee service. The home of award-winning baristas, Morsels proudly features Intelligentsia coffee and Kilogram tea on a full espresso and brew-to-order coffee bar.

Services
Morsels Doughnation began in 2017 as a way for us to proactively support our local community. During the three years of the program, we donated over $2,500 to local, northern Michigan based non-profits! For each month January - May and September - December, we partnered with a specific organization and created a unique morsel themed on their name or service.

Nice little coffee shop with desserts! The morsels come with more than 10 flavors. My personal favorite is the devil chocolate (can't remember the full name)its rich and flavorful.
We sat at the outdoor area. It was not a big one but we were lucky enough to have the sear to look straight at the little canal that flows right next to the shop.
Definitely recommend to go grab a coffee and maybe some morels and enjoy the day with nice scenery.

Great coffee! My husband got a poor over and I purchased a carmel latte and both were really good. Probably one of my favorite places in Traverse City for coffee. Also, we got a dozen of the morsel desserts and they are so tasty and much more filling than you would think. We will go again for sure. If you are in downtown TC and need a sweet treat or a cup of joe, it's a must.
