Bacon Equipment.... Service department is TERRIBLE!! I have a large Kubota M105x farm tractor that I have had a lot of issues with. I’ve brought it here multiple times over the last year and a half. The moral of this story for those who don’t have time to read is go anywhere else.
For starters I should have gone elsewhere from the beginning. On the phone the were hesitant to take the machine. The first experience wasn’t bad they did a half decent job. But within a few days the the transmission would only shift in gear 5-8. When I called on the phone they were fast to diagnose the issue as

First time purchasing a tractor. I went ahead and placed my order with Luke on Feb 9. Tractor was delivered on the 24th. Everything was delivered as promised. Completely frictionless experience. Paul, Luke and everyone at Bacon's was very friendly and helpful. Proud of being able to support our local businesses.

Stopped in to see if they carried Carhartt Pants. They did but all were the canvas/dungaree styles, no cargo pocket styles, no rip stop, and none of the newer styles. Their stock was plentiful and the prices were not bad at all. I'd shop here again.

Bacon Equipmemt has posted a sign on their door stating, "if you're afraid to shop here don't bother coming in". No one there is wearing a mask. Clearly their arrogance
and ignorance is the only thing they will be wearing. Good luck.
Thank you Raymond for posting Bacon's ridiculous sign.
Sorry Bacon about my inaccurate quote, but it pretty much summed up your sentiments. We'll never use your business ever again.

If you’re in the market for a Kubota, go to Bacons and talk to Luke in sales. Luke did a fantastic job helping me buy my BX. I had a ton of questions and he answered them all, and he is super easy to get in contact with for questions and logistics of the deal. I had a couple of specific requests for my Kubota and Luke went out of his way to track down what I wanted and made sure I got it. I’m happy with the deal I got, and not to mention it’s a Kubota—the best subcompact tractor your money can buy.

I purchased a small Kubota tractor from Bacon's this Fall. The pricing from Bacon's was fair including welcomed savings on the large ticket implements that I purchased along with my tractor. After obtaining quotes from several Western MA and CT Kubota dealers I quickly realized that those dealers were not interested in my business, they wanted me to pay retail on the tractor as well as the implements. In these days of heavy competition for my business that was not going to happen.
After you obtain quotes from others don't hesitate and give Bacon's a call. You'll be glad that you did.

I am an annual patron of bacons for maintance of equipment of my uncles farm. They do great work. That great work takes time as they are a busy shop. I have found their pricing to be fair and reasonable. They have done some major projects for me.
I will be a return customer.

5/15 - Backhoe attachment for my Kubota BX24 needed two hoses replaced. Called, told it would take two or three days if I dropped it off that day, which I did... Got a runaround in 3-4 calls and a return visit over the next two weeks. Brought in Monday, finally did the job the second Friday following, and it cost me $405 for two 35 inches hoses to be replaced. It seems to me they would rather get as much of your money at once, than to cultivate return business.
