At the young age of 12 I started my endeavor into the photography world under the influence of my older cousin Ken Gilloon. I was immediately hooked when i first saw his make shift darkroom that was setup in the family bathroom, which by the way was the only bathroom in the house. It was the start of high school back on 1980 when in 7th grade I started to take my camera with me to school snapping photos of kids in the hallway.
Yes, that's right 7th grade was high school from where I came from as the town was fairly small compared to surrounding towns on Long Island. It wasn't long until i became part of the photography staff for the school newspaper The Gull. Don't ask me why they called it that but that was the name. In my senior year i became the photo editor for the newspaper along with being the photo editor of the school yearbook.

Flat fee which Includes up to 2 hours of photographers talent, photographer assistants time, editing of photos, and travel time, plus 2-3 wardrobe changes if needed. Prints can also be ordered from my website for additional charge. Location shoots only. Studio setup can be done in your home for smaller size portrait sessions.

We did a family maternity session close to downtown Raleigh with Chris. We hadn't done family pictures in quite a while, and we didn't know what to expect. We really enjoyed our session and Chris had a lot of patience to deal with our awkwardness and the pictures look amazing!
He had a lot of cool ideas to incorporate our maternity props and we really enjoyed it. Look forward to our next family session so we can treasure more family moments!

Chris did my little one's two years birthday photo. It was taken in a park. My toddler is full of energy and wouldn't cooperate; he just wanted to do his own things: playing with dog, water, fallen leaves, wood stick, mud... Chris was very patient and followed him for more than an hour, taking candid photos. It turned out great! He not only captured wonderful moments, but also did a fantastic job processing the pictures -- I can see he put a lot of thoughts in it, and it was a great deal of work, far exceeding the standard processing in most studios.
