We've loved this place for years! The quality & recipes remain consistent & incredibly tasty. If you can't decide between Mexican or Italian the gives you wonderful selections of both! Service is always great too. You can get seems like the same types of comfort food here that with their personal touch excite the taste buds & become new favorites you get only here!

This was my first time here. They do a great job of efficiently taking orders up front and only need to deliver food to the table. Which they do in take home containers so that saves more time. And the food is very good. I had a personal size pizza (pepperoni and cheese). That was good. But their nutty apple salad was absolutely fantastic. Going back just for that!!.

I saw that the reviews were really up and down for this place, so I thought I’d give it a shot. Let me be clear, I almost never leave reviews. This place cannot justify the price they charge. My sister got the adult Mac and cheese…she isn’t a picky eater and she hated it. It was literally plain noodles with a little bit of drippy watery cheese sauce that you could do yourself. You could get one of the Stouffer’s oven varieties and it would be better. I got the eggplant Parmesan, and the sauce has no flavor at all. Again, just cooked noodles with a bit of tasteless sauce. This place is a bit of a hole in the wall in terms of size, but the items I ordered met the mark! I ordered a calzone that was fantastic. I am honestly thinking about ordering another one tonight. The cheese was great, the marinara sauce was made in house, and the meatballs had a different texture that I enjoyed. I also had a pizza that reminded me a lot of a Papa John's at Mt. Vernon, but in a good way.

Best pizza my husband and I have had in years!! Everything we ordered was delicious! Lasagna, Chicken Marsala, Smothered Burrito and Nachos!! Only negative is full table service is not available until 2 pm. So we had to order at front counter before we were seated and the food was brought to table in Styrofoam containers.

I'm so disappointed in their decision to go with high top tables. I hate sitting in high top tables and had to wait to be seated. I don't know why they changed something that has been working for over 30 years. It's not a bar it's a family restaurant. The service is still outstanding and the food is still good. "If it ain't broke don't fix it". My friend doesn't' want to go back because of the new high top tables.

This place is AMAZING! Italian and Mexican food in the same place, so I got chips and salsa with a Stromboli 😍. The Stromboli is the best I have ever had, drove 1.5 hours for it. I dont think I could try anything else when I return because the Stromboli is too good to skip. Staff was incredible, sat us early and we had great service.

Disappointed the last two visits....not sure we will return to Piccolo's.
1) We ordered takeout and the waitress "specifically" stated our meals would come with a salad. Well, they (tried) to charged us $6.95 for each salad! Salad was not even close to having a $6.95 value! It was gross.
2) We walked into the restaurant at 1:00pm to physically eat at the restaurant and were told to order at the bar using the DINNER MENU and they would bring our food to us in "takeout' containers! Or, we could come back at a later time to be given proper dinnerware.

Not impressed in any way with this place. Went for lunch, no table service until 2 PM, I get it. I ordered chicken taco and enchilada combo and paid for a side of sour cream I didn't receive. Meals were served in foil takeout containers, very small portions and the food was Not. Good.
The chicken was dry and tasteless, almost like they had leftover chicken, dry chunks and decided to use them on my order. The Spanish rice was not good. The beans were okay, but just okay.

I have been eating here for over 40 years and it is still the best pizza in Denver. I think it's hilarious how off put closed minded people are to having both Italian and Mexican -they're both great. There's times where I'll get a half order of pasta and a couple tacos! Never had a bad meal here ever!!!

I have been coming here since before I can remember. My parents would bring us here for family dinners when I was a kid. We had team sports banquets when I was in high school. And, now, I take my family here for dinner. This food has always been consistent - pizza, spaghetti, burritos are some of my favorites! My husband just discovered the wings when we ordered takeout last week. He said they were some of the best wings he's had.
Love that this is still family-owned, same location for 35+ years and still consistently good!

We were looking for a good local Italian restaurant and this one had a plus, Mexican food too and it is very close to the Embassy Suites. They brought bread and butter as well as chips and salsa to the table. We ordered three entrees and dessert. I had the minestrone and chicken parmesan. Food and service were awesome. Very welcoming family atmosphere

This used to be great place to go...but since they started doing only take out, the food quality has gone down ,the staff is rude and when they say 30 to 40 minutes ,expect much longer
When I finally got my order it was wrong, and since I did not check it there, I was home before I noticed
Hopefully the dining will open soon and the service and food will be back to pre-Covid times

We've lived in southeast Denver 5 years and haven't visited this place yet before today. We really missed out. My husband and I were looking for a place to visit for Valentine's Day and decided to try this out. I had Bariatric surgery last year and developed some ulcers so eating out is difficult for me. This place is so nice and accommodating. I ate some of my half size chicken alfredo and had zero issues. My husband had the gnocchi with a salad. He got a full size plate and had to take some home. Staff were very friendly and the service was really good! I ordered the house margarita which was okay however it was a good price point. The pasta servings were generous with the full order. The noodles tasted very fresh. The sauces on the chicken Alfredo and shrimp scampi were okay but a good deal for the price.

For years this place turned me off. A restaurant doing Mexican and Italian can't be doing both right... So even though I lived in the neighborhood I never stopped in. When a family member was in town for work tonight someone picked this place as a central location for everyone to meet, so we tried it out.

Boy was I surprised! This place serves more than pizza but my review is based on what I ate. For starters, the restaurant is in a great location. Easily accessible by car and public transportation. Also, the parking is adequate. When i arrived there, it was fairly crowded which is a good indicator that this is a good place to eat. We waited about 10 minutes for a table but the time goes by because the place is bustling with activities.
When we were seated, our wait-staff promptly took our orders

Definitely love the idea of a full portion or half portion. The half of portion for me is plenty along with the salad, bread and chips you will get full. The menu has a variety also including Mexican food a nice wine and cocktail list along with desserts. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The service is enjoyable and courteous.
