Marin Furniture Clinic was started in Marin in 1979 by James and Liddy Ingram, an English couple who moved here from London. They had previously run a well-known and established antique and restoration business in Chelsea. The business was started single-handedly and gradually grew. Today, it is still relatively small.
Serving Marin for over 35 years, Marin Furniture Clinic is an English-founded business offering all types of repair for fine and antique furniture. We always ensure that estimates are dealt with promptly. We repair or replace cane, rush and wicker to all types of furniture and in most cases can color match the replaced areas.
We will provide an overview of the countless objects restored by Marin Furniture Clinic during the past 35 years from those of ancient cultures to the factories and ateliers of noted makers. If you are looking for an excellent place to have cherished furniture restored, we highly recommend Marin Furniture Clinic. They are very conveniently located, friendly, professional and patient to work with. They did an outstanding job of restoring our dining room table, for a very fair price, and delivered it back to us with care. They even helped us to re-assemble it, clearly taking pride in their work and wanting to "finish the job". Narahel Gomez (Owner) and Will are truly craftsmen, and take great pride in their work! We strongly recommend you give them consideration!

I brought in my Dad's favorite chair that he had painted red...layers of red paint. Through the years I've been stripping most of the paint. I couldn't throw it away. Luckily I saw their truck at a gas station. They said the chair was from the early 1900's and was well worth restoring and for sentimental reasons. I was totally pleased with the results. I'll post the photos on their main site as this review doesn't have the option. I highly recommend Marin Furniture Clinic.
