Business leaders have no shortage of challenges to wade through these days; between the ongoing pandemic, the Great Resignation, and evolving cyber threats, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and even a little lost as to where to start. Few business owners I know are pleased to find out that a service provider of theirs has been acquired.
This is especially true in the case of managed IT service providers, who more or less hold your ability to operate in their hands. If this provider has been purchased. We wrote the book on legal technology, and how your firm can thrive in an era of rapid technological change.

Services
Heinan founded Optimal Networks in 1991. The goal? Build a technology services company that would not only provide its clients with mind-blowing results, but have serious fun doing so. We'd say it worked out well. From molding our Client Service Executive role to building and leading our Strategic Consulting practice, Chris Abel has been an invaluable part of our team (and our clients' teams!) for over 20 years.
Our approach is to focus our efforts on solving business problems and provide tangible, measureable results to your firm. You don't know if your client data is vulnerable to prying eyes, terminated employees, or even overbearing eDiscovery laws - and if your firm is therefore at risk of legal action.
Your data might not be secure, which leaves the door open to a cyberattack that could damage your reputation irreparably. Instead of dedicating their time to advancing your mission, your CFO, COO, or other executive seems to spend all day watching over your technical resources.
Your organization isn't able to collaborate and communicate effectively, or to support remote and mobile workers well, which makes it difficult for you to appeal to Millennials as members and employees.

Optimal established a level of trust immediately in three ways: demonstrating technical expertise, doing what they say they're going to do, and not always looking to sell us the latest technology just because it's available. Before, our team would gather and say 'it would be great if we could.' but now we can.
I am amazed at what our Optimal CIO manages to do with his dedicated time. He excels at strategy and process, gathering information, getting buy-in, and managing the team to implement decisions. On that last point, we manage to give him lots of challenges! And yet, he finds ever-more-creative ways to get the best out of his team.

Tried to steal money from me via PayPal, through a mandatory pay invoice, that tried to take money from my account if the invoice didn't get paid. Received an email from PayPal informing me I had 1 day to pay the invoice, or the funds would be withdrawn from my current balance.
