Ciccarelli Jewelers has its very own certified G.I.A. Graduate Gemologist. Wilhelmina Willemse has over 35 years of experience appraising fine jewelry, and is credentialed in the United States, as well as in Europe. Her portfolio appraisals contain fully detailed descriptions of your piece and are complimented with color photos.
Diamonds are found with a range of colors, from faint yellow or brown through to the very rare pinks, blues, greens and other colors known as "fancies." However, the best color for a diamond is no color. It is a totally colorless diamond that allows white light to pass effortlessly through it and be dispersed as rainbows of color.
Gold ranks high in physical properties that matter in jewelry. It will not tarnish or rust, and it is the most corrosion-proof and oxidation-resistant metal. Although it is very strong, gold is the most malleable of all metals. Pure gold is too soft to withstand the stresses of everyday wear, so it is combined with different alloys to give it strength and durability.

After my mother passed away, I needed to get her rings appraised and one of them need repaired. I was greeted by all of the staff when I would enter the story which made me feel very welcome. My needs were well understood. The gemologist described the appraisal process clearly and through our conversations I was confident that she was knowledge and experienced.
