I am a 2014 graduate of the New York Institute of Massage. Prior to pursuing my license as a massage therapist I spent 10 years working as a music therapist primarily with the wonderful elderly population who were receiving end of life palliative care in the nursing home setting. It was a joy and blessing in my life to know and serve these folks.
We invite you to experience a couples massage in our beautiful historic Victorian home. Nestle into the warmth and comfort of our cozy farmhouse style master bedroom to receive a 75 minute relaxation massage complete with heat wraps and essential oils. These nourishing beauty products are all natural, organic, vegan & ethically sourced ingredients, they are also cruelty free to animals & humans alike. They are totally plant based, made with organic ingredients, phthalate free, paraben free & funky junk free.
I'm nine months pregnant and my entire body has hurt for months; after a 60 minute pregnancy massage with Theresa I feel like a human being again - I don't even have the words to say thank you properly! I can walk without pain! Passed Escential Care a few times after we moved back to Alden. Really wanted to check it out.

Best spa ever! Everyone is so friendly, so welcoming, so attentive. The massages are out of this world (my husband and I go to Theresa H., the owner, but be warned she stays extremely booked up so schedule far in advance). The old house it's in is beyond charming and inviting. We love coming here and it's more than worth the 40 min drive from our home.
