Eugenia Uhl Photography

Eugenia Uhl is a native New Orleanian. Upon completing an advertising degree at Louisiana State University, she went on to Portfolio Center, a commercial art school in Atlanta. She began her career in 1989 and quickly became one of the New Orleans area's top commercial photographers specializing in food, products, people and architectural interiors.

Eugenia's photographs are in 10 cookbooks including Commander's Kitchen, Galatoire's, Palace Cafe/Flavors of New Orleans, New Orleans Home Cooking, Essential Louisiana Cookbook, The Essential Louisiana Seafood Cookbook, the Bywater Cookbook, Kevin Belton's New Orleans Kitchen, Kevin Belton's New Orleans Celebrations and The Essential New Orleans Cookbook (2020).
