Services
The College Entrance Essay is a daunting and essential part of the college application process. In the past, students were asked to answer two prompts in 1000 words or less. Now, students are given 8 prompts and asked to answer 4 of them in 350 words or less. The Common Application, which is used by most private schools, consists of a choice between 6 different prompts.
Our summer ACT program offers instruction and test review on the 5 subjects tested on the ACT: English, Reading, Math, Science and Writing. Students will have a chance to practice their test-taking strategies each week during an up-to-date proctored test. They will then have a chance to review their test with an instructor and receive lessons in the 5 subjects.

I highly recommend Erika Schwartz for essay coaching. My daughter worked with Erika on her college essays and was recently admitted early to Stanford University. Erika took the time to discover my daughter's strengths and what made her unique, and made sure her essays would stand out at very competitive colleges. I received help from Erika for my UC college application essays. Cut to a few months later, I was admitted into every UC school that I applied to (UCLA, Berkeley, UCSB, UCSD, and UC Davis) and will be attending my dream school, UCLA, in the fall!!
