Honestly extremely disappointed with my time and my experience here. this is supposed to be a place of godliness, and a good experience. over the years i was harassed and bullied, told staff, and nothing ever happened about it. was threatened with a weapon by another student, staff did nothing about it. all this school cares about is money, they have no regulars for their students happiness, honestly really shameful. forgot to mention that he had threatened to shoot me, and staff still allowed him to attend the school. does anyone see something wrong with that? how that would make someone feel

If I could give this school 0 stars I would. I was a student here and it was the worse experience of my life! The teachers, guidance counselor, and coaches really don't care. Now don't get me wrong there are those special teachers who truly care about your learning, but sadly that is not the majority. There is major bullying at this school which the facility don't acknowledge. I think the part the gets me the most is that they only care about money, I wanted to be an office aide to get half a credit because I had a free block, they said yes but only if I paid them money for it. My daughter attended Crean for four years. I can't recommend this school enough. It was given her the high school experience we had hoped for her. The teachers care deeply about the students -- both academically & spirituality. Their communication with parents is very good which has been helpful. My daughter is prepped and ready for college thanks to Crean Lutheran.
Now my son will begin school there next year. Looking forward to watching him grow there.

We are very pleased with our first year so far at Crean. The communication between teachers and parents is excellent. This was a huge factor for us. There are many opportunities for success here. Our son has been really enjoying Highschool so far and we give just as much credit to the teachers and excellent staff that seem to care ab the well being of the students. The brand new gym is amazing as well the brand new turf going onto the football field this year!!

I attended here for four years, and I do not regret it one bit. I love this school. It is a perfect small school that isn't going to grow tremendously population wise, but the school itself will go better every year. All of the sports teams are consistently getting better and all of the facilities are becoming some of the best in OC. I would tell any middle schooler who has the leadership to blaze his own path, go against the grain, and make a name for himself to come here. All the teachers are amazing, and honestly care for every student. Also, shoutout to ms. Howe! You are the best teacher

Our daughter was in the first class when they opened the doors in 2007. This school is wonderful. The teachers care about the students and academics are second to none. Crean prepared her for college. The service projects she did at this school also prepared her for life. Sending her here was one of the best decisions we ever made.

To begin, I work at Crean Lutheran so this review will be biased; however, I have worked at other schools and have not nearly enjoyed coming to work as much as I do when I leave home for Crean Lutheran. The faculty and staff care about one another, but more importantly, they care about the mission of "Proclaiming Jesus Christ through Excellence in Education." When there is a need to hire someone, there are multiple interviews and evaluations, all directed at ensuring that those hired successfully balance relational ministry and high expectations. This school is amazing! The teachers are young & vibrant plus the staff is phenomenal. My daughter attended and I'm excited for my son to attend to.
I have experience with every private HS in south Orange County & this is school is hands down the best !! They are so invested in the students & treat them like family as opposed to a payment.
My daughter struggled & wasn't by far the easiest student but they cared for her every step of the way.. God bless Mr. C for being a strong cheerleader for her even when we were disillusioned with her goals. Your faith kept our faith

This school has a serious drug problem and the curriculum is too easy aside from AP classes. Stay away from this school if you are not a Christian or if you're still deciding on your faith because they teach hate and brainwash students into hating and bullying others others. They had a serious cyber bullying incident recently and when it was brought to the attention of the staff they did nothing about it. The only reason my review has one star is because the campus is clean and they have a hybrid program. The hybrid program allows you to go to school twice a week and take other classes outside

We have loved Crean Lutheran for our son. Loved his teachers for: Honors/AP English, French, Math, Choir, Cross Country & Track, Art. The school is very true to its mission "Proclaiming Jesus Christ through excellence in education." Workload is rigorous but not excessive like some Irvine public high schools. Plus you can go out for a sport at Crean and actually participate even if you're a beginner. Overall a really balanced and healthy experience. Bonus: students probably have better college admissions propects compared to IUSD schools, because so many schools (UC and others) primarily look at
