Arthur the owner has a lot of knowledge of proper usage and safety of chimneys and was very willing to share that knowledge. I have a few rental properties that he has done. In one instance he pointed out some replacement glass fireplace doors that someone else had improperly installed and were not the correct UL rating for the fireplace thus creating a safety issue. He took the time to educate me on the proper fix.

My husband and I own/operate a local heating & cooling business, specializing in sales & service of hearth appliances. ABD Chimney has always been friendly and professional with our customers. Since we do not perform chimney inspections or cleanings, we refer all our customers to ABD. I noticed a previous 1 star review stated that their home was in danger of burning down and we highly doubt the accuracy of that customer review.

Installed a wood burning insert. Installed the flue 7 feet short of the top of the chimney. My house could have burned down. Came back the next year to clean the chimney. Never saida word about the problem. Dangerous defect he caused was discovered by another chimney sweep and must be fixed before I can used my stove.
