PennEngineering designed and built the first PEMSERTER automatic fastener insertion machine in the 1960's as more and more self-clinching fastener users realized that further cost benefits could be achieved using auto feed equipment.
Founded in 1926 and acquired by PennEngineering in 2016, Heyco Products designs and manufactures molded wire protection products, plastic fasteners, molded components and stamped electrical components to meet the needs of industrial, medical, appliance, transportation, alternative energy, lighting, and aerospace companies.
ATLAS blind threaded inserts (also known as rivet nuts or blind threaded rivets) provide strong and reusable permanent threads in sheet materials where only one side is accessible for hardware installation. ATLAS Brand MaxTite fasteners can be certified to meet all active pertinent military specifications, including NAS 1329, NAS1330 and BACR16E and F (Boeing).
As a part of the mechanically attached fasteners line of fasteners, PROFIL high performance fasteners are permanently and securely attached to metal parts or panels by means of a riveting, piercing or pressing process. In addition, we design and manufacture automated feeding equipment for in die press shop applications and assembly line solutions to meet the individual production requirements of our PROFIL customers.
