Serving Salinas since 1919, Beck's Shoes and Repair is now in its fourth generation of Beck Family ownership. Ole Beck came to Salinas after the Great War WWI, and founded a small shoe repair shop in the 100 block of Main Street. Beck's has prospered over the years even with the depression, WWII, Vietnam, agriculture strikes, lousy times, but also some very good times.

Over the years Beck's has developed into a store catering to the working man and woman. Beck's also has a full service shoe repair shop which keeps us well connected to our roots and Salinas. Becks have always focused on personal customer service, a wide selection of merchandise, and a knowledgeable staff.

Excellent customer service. As soon as I walked into the door the clerk was asked me if I needed help. She knew exactly what I looking for. I was out of the store is less than 15 minutes. That's awesome! Thanks Beck for my steel toe boots. They are lightweight, stylish, safe, and reasonably priced.

The owner took a look at my stained leather shoes and AF used me to try dish soap. And then gave me instructions on how to do so without causing further harm. I love that he was honest, I bought a couple of shoe polish a d protectant.

We discovered that this is now our closest shoe repair store and we were encouraged by the many positive reviews. Erik did not disappoint, as every aspect was great; he's pleasant, he does the work promptly, his work is really good and his prices are quite reasonable (I had new heels put on a pair of shoes today).

Nesettled in Oldtown Salinas, this place jas stood stand and tall for a while now. A Landmark i would dare say.
This store carries footwear from sole cushions to Boots. Nice work apparel aswell lole Beanies and Jackets. Different kinds of socks. Boots and shoes for Tree climbing and sporty shoes with steeltoe if you dont feel to comfortable with boots. Also does repairs and conditioning.
From work to fishing, and hunting, this place will carry it. Always well stocked, neatly aligned very clean and Quiet.
Friendly staff helpfull and knowledgeable.
Do expect to pay a pretty penny for anything

!GOD FORBID you dont have the reciept (because someone else bought them for you but in the wrong size) they'll turn you away and you will likely be upset (enough to write a review about your experience.

Was told at time of purchase that my steal toe boots would be fixable if any were to happen to them but turns out that its not true. Big Wow for lies to your customers. Thanks Red wings
