Not a bad job as far as CNA work goes. I worked here for years and was satisfied with the position. Residents were like a second family and the majority of the staff genuinely care for their well-being. Benefits could be better, but that is true of many places. Things change when goes from county run to private, but pay is still one of the best for the position, so I would recommend.

Cedar Haven was once a place I would take my grandparents.
Now, not so much. It’s such a big deal for the employees to help families of guests or even co workers! It’s just terrible there! The residents aren’t even getting showers it can go for WEEKS. I had to remove my Mother from there. Aides hide call bells. HR doesn’t care. That woman Mindy needs to go! She ignore’s all the problems and creates them! My mom was sick of that place. Sitting in dirty briefs for hours, getting sores from it because of YOUR establishment!
I hope that someone can step up and fix this trashy place ASAP

It’s sad this place use to be nice to work at but it has changed drastically for the worst. Management is so awful and very unprofessional. They were forcing people who aren’t even certified to do aid work. They don’t know how to make the schedule it’s always screwed up and handwritten. They treat their employees awful and unfair and they don’t care at all about them either. It’s very short staff where you have no time to do proper care on residents and they overwork you. There’s been times where people haven’t taken their breaks and they didn’t even get paid for them cause certain
