Vision therapy is an individualized treatment regimen aimed at developing and improving visual skills and perception. It is performed under doctor supervision, and tailored to each patient's specific needs. Suffer from post traumatic vision disorder secondary to concussion, head injury, or stroke. The evaluation consists of two office visits.
Syntonics, or optometric phototherapy, is the use of specific wavelengths of light to balance the autonomic nervous system and to treat visual dysfunctions. Syntonics comes from the word syntony, which means to bring into balance. More recently, syntonics has also been shown to be effective in the treatment of patients with concussion or traumatic brain injury, as well as certain emotional disorders including seasonal affective disorder (SAD).

After not getting my eyes examined for about 10 years, I was a little anxious about my first visit. Dr. R. Krzyzak and his team made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. The team is friendly and knowledgeable. Courtney (technician) and Dr. R. Krzyzak both listened thoroughly to my concerns and talked me through each exam they conducted. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Mike and his vision therapy team really helped my daughter with a variety of problems. She was having intense headaches and difficulty following written material in 4th grade. She received glasses in a very short amount of time that helped her headaches in the car and when she was completing school work on the computer. She also attended vision therapy once a week that used games and activities to help her with tracking. Vision therapy used fun strategies that appealed to a 10 year old to improve her ability to read better without losing her place, and track the puck better when playing hockey
