Transitions Recovery is a nationally accredited, state-licensed substance abuse treatment center based in North Miami Beach. Transitions Recovery was founded in 1985 to provide drug and alcohol addiction treatment by professionals with a passion for helping chemically dependent patients and their families.

I have evolved tremendously with this program being helpful on a recovery level and and my daily life skills. This program has changed my way of thinking from positive affirmations to a gratitude list and changing my mindset on a daily basis. It’s also helped me embrace my mental illness. My therapist Tonya helped me spread my wings and made me more determined, more focused and goal oriented on myself my future and my recovery and the entire staff played a big role in my life changing style.

My experience at Transitions has been both Amazing and Life saving.... Everyone from Jackie, Will, Jeff, Art, Janet, Allie, Tanya Everyone.... And the Doctors!!! This place transitions I call home. Although I’ve been here three times I have been successful to get some recovery time. The many times I’ve been here I have always been treated with respect and dignity. The staff shows the compassion and genuine care and love because that’s the right thing to do. I was at Transitions years ago and it was a life changing experience. While working with a young woman who was unable to stay sober, I reached out to Transitions (years after my time there) to see if they could help her. Her situation was more than complicated and they sorted through all of it and she is there as we speak, like myself, having a life changing experience. I truly valued my experience at Transitions. It was my first time in Miami and I didn't know what to expect. The staff, counselors and health professionals all offered me a great deal of help and insight into my addiction. It's all in what you put into it. I had been to treatment before but I wasn't ready for recovery. Once I was ready, Transitions guided me every step of the way. I highly recommend attending transitions if you struggle with substance abuse. The staff is amazing and they actually care about what’s best for the client unlike most treatment centers. I’m forever grateful to transitions for helping me rebuild relationships and reintegrate back into society. Couldn’t be happier with the experience I had there I almost didn’t want to leave.

Where to begin.. When I came to Transitions I was listless, depressed ,suicidal,broken,anxious and feeling irreperable. My family got Jesse Edeilstein on the phone and her voice was as caring and as knowledgeable about my pain as anyone I could've hoped for as a first point of contact. Transitions is by far the most helpful, realistic, therapeutic and for me the most beneficial recovery center ever! I unfortunately have been battling this disease for over ten years, the facility is excellent. But what truly sets them apart is the staff!
