Services
Since 1982, Somerset Beach Campground has sought to glorify God through Christian camping. We serve as an extended ministry of the local church, seeking to create an environment in which people can experience God. Whether you join us for a week, weekend, or day, it is our desire that you leave SBC refreshed and renewed.
We are looking for post-high school individuals who are ready to invest in people's lives through a christian summer camp! Does that sound like you? It doesn't matter what you look like, where you're from or what you're majoring in! We'll need counselors, kitchen staff, lifeguards, maintenance staff, custodial staff and office staff.
In the spring of 2020, when things were changing and we were uncertain of what the rest of 2020 would bring, we were amazed at how you anticipated what your camp would need. You came through with prayer support and financial gifts, without us even having to ask. The ministry at Somerset Beach thrived this summer, albeit in a new way, because of all of you.
Somerset Beach Campground's Lakeside Lodges provide an excellent retreat location for groups all year. Designed to serve families and non-profit organizations, the spacious Great Room is ideal for church retreats, school functions, and family reunions. The campground also provides a variety of recreational activities for groups.
Appplewood Lodge and Red Oak Lodge were both built in 1998. The lodges are 5,400 square feet and are great for summer youth camps, retreat groups, families, and non-profit organizations. They are perfect for activities during any season. Our Field House is the perfect place for our guests to enjoy indoor recreation!

Fantastic campground! It's a new find for us but we've gone the last two weekends! Nice Beach for the kids! Staff is very friendly, especially the ladies in the trading post. They were very sweet and patient with all the kids we had with us.
Zip line, small archery range, large playground is great for the kids.
Beautiful private lake and they do offer small boat rentals.
They also offer RV storage in the back!
Showers and restrooms are very clean, along with all the sites and public areas. All the campsites are on nice grass (and decent dirt road lanes) and have nice fire pits with covers to

We live in central Indiana and wanted to spend our Labor Day weekend camping somewhere away from home that we have never been to get away from it all. We decided to rent an RV and travel the 4 hours to Somerset Beach Campground. It was one of the most enjoyable camping trips we have ever had with two adults and two kids aged six and eight. Everyone there was so welcoming and so helpful. We have never used an RV and they guided us in how to set our campsite up and what the best way for our RV to be facing was. We did not have a long enough extension cord to plug the RV into the power source so one

This has been a fabulous family camping experience. I can't speak for the weekend activities yet but I can say the bathrooms are clean and up to stock in supplies. Trails are perfect for walking and biking. The beach has enough space for all and the water is clear compared to other lakes in the area. They have a spot on the lake to put our paddle boat and kayaks. Or a boat shack to rent paddle boats and kayaks. They have a fishing dock to fish from as well. My kids (3yo and 7yo) loved the fishing and caught quite a few fish. The play area had more than enough to do for all ages to enjoy and they

Had to cancel campsite today due to the Speedway not allowing fans in because of Covid. You would think they would be a little more lenient on their cancellation policy during such a time of unknown like this. Our family has definitely been affected and they are still charging us and will give no refund. I'm sure the response will highlight their cancellation policy but we all need to be more lax during a time like this and know that some people don't have money to donate and get nothing from it. Will never consider this place again because of this shady business.
Just received your response.

We had an awesome time camping this past weekend! It was my granddaughter's (age 4) first time camping and she had so much fun! She loved the playground and caught her first fish off of the dock. She loved swimming and playing in the sand. My niece and youngest son did the zipline and said it was awesome! With everything going on with Covid everyone practiced social distancing and there was plenty of space for everyone, no problems. We did have an issue with the electrical box the first night, but I called the office and left a message and the next morning a maintenance guy came to our site and

The fam attended a group camping experience with our church this weekend, and it was a blast. The focus of our stay there was group mingling so we didn't participate in most of what the campground has to offer and lemme tell ya, the list is long. The beach was wonderful, there's archery, a zipline, shady trails, sports, disc golf and more. The group camp area was moderately open suited for RV and camper owners, but the other areas offered some nice shady wood-backed sites. The wife and I both agreed it would be nice to come back and stay at one of those. Overall not super crowded and clean facilities
