Malvern Day Camp
Located in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, Malvern Day Camp is the best kids' camp in Delaware County providing families throughout the region a fun and safe environment every summer. Camper groups are structured according to age, grade level, or parent preference. Typically, our Mini Campers are between the ages of 5 and 6, Junior Campers are between 7 and 9 years old and the Senior Campers are 10 to 12 years old.

The 13 and 14 year olds actively participate in a fun filled program and are also eligible to apply to our Counselor-In-Training (C.I.T.) program. Each camper group is led by two counselors and each activity is led by a specialist in that field. This, combined with small group size, keeps the camper to staff ratio at Malvern Day Camp exceptionally low.
Services
Our drop-off procedures have been updated and the carline will be modified to accommodate our health screening process. As families arrive, staff will direct cars to filter into two lines. Each family will be provided with a car identification card that will be posted on each car for drop-off and pick-up.
This summer, you will never hear, "I'm bored". Malvern Day Camp provides creative, educational, positive and diverse activities to engage campers and give them a reason to be excited to return to camp every day of the summer! Campers will enjoy their coed Mini, Junior, Senior and Counselor-in-Training (C.I.T.) groups based on their age and grade level.
One of the best things about summer camp is swimming! Under the supervision and guidance of our certified lifeguards, campers enjoy two recreational swims every day and optional instructional swimming lessons two times each week (Monday and Thursday).

Our low camper to staff ratio, combined with our commitment to safety, ensures that campers swim and enjoy water games under the watchful eyes of our qualified instructors during all aquatic activities.During the swim lessons, our staff will encourage participation and provide instruction in swimming techniques and water safety skills.
Nature and waterfront activities at Malvern Day Camp are full of fun and adventure! At the waterfront, campers master skills and challenges as they navigate a kayak up and down our creek. Under the supervision and guidance of our certified waterfront specialists, campers are instructed in safety rules and must wear a personal flotation device while in a kayak or canoe.

My child has gone to camp here for a couple years now. Lots of kids from GV school district and many others. Very well organized, and usually pretty flexible with adding days to the child's schedule. They offer lunches, and fun activities throughout the day.

I went on the last Parent's Day and I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED! Although we didn't get to do much outside because the storm came, I thought the Counselors were patient and attentive and caring to all the children. The kids all genuinely seemed happy, which is a feat in itself. Even when we went inside, the counselors were great with the situation that was handed to them. I was extremely nervous sending my daughter here as every new place makes a parent nervous, but I am so happy with the decision we made. Thank you for giving me peace of mind.

A very unfair review about the Malvern day camp below. My little boy has been coming here for several years and he has been very happy each and every one of them. I also disagree that the staff here is unfriendly. They run or wave to always say hello and greet you. They always have smiles on their faces.
It is clear that a review below is from a kid and his personal experience rather than experience of everyone else in the camp. I feel sorry that this child did not like it here because I know for sure that anyone would if they tried.
Malvern day camp is wonderful and affordable at the same time

This place SUX... yes it has fun things to do but the counselors and kids bullied me and objectified me a 25 year old counselor LITERALLY asked me, a 13 year old girl, "why do you act like such a sl**". Bruh exact words...
Other than that I like how they play music in the background :P

I am happy to share that I am currently employed at MDC on a temporary basis, and I have been enjoying every moment of it. I can validate how hard the staff works each and every day to ensure all of the campers are engaged, safe, and having fun! There are numerous activities, as well as special events that take place here. I can't imagine a child ever being bored. I am a parent myself, and what makes my job here even better, is that my son gets to experience all the fun MDC has to offer. I had him in a variety of camps in previous summers, and he always complained that he either did not want to

I have three children at The Malvern Day Camp and I must say that our car rides home are non-stop talks about all the fun things they did that day. My oldest daughter loves playing Gaga with her friends and counselors, while her younger sisters enjoy swimming and kayaking. I love the fact that my children are outside being active on a daily basis. I would recommend this camp to anyone.
