It began with one camera, one lens, and one reflector. Recently divorced, Kelly Billington needed to rethink and reprioritize. As a stay-at-home mom, she was faced with the difficult choice of reentering the work world and sending her two young children (and most of her paycheck) to daycare. Armed with talent, determination, and a little bit of desperation, Billington decided to pursue her passion and begin a home-based photography business.
We typically photograph all babies on their first full day at the hospital. It is also possible for your shoot to take place on the day before discharge. Generally, we do not take photos on the day of discharge unless there is a medical reason for the delay. We always encourage husbands and siblings to participate if they are available at the time of the shoot, but we may not be at the hospital late in the day.
One of Bella Life's most popular options is our Milestone Package. The Milestone Package features four sessions at a discounted rate in your home or at a local park that can be used within two years of purchase. Generally, people with young children purchase this package, for that, is when you see the most noticeable changes in the photos; the most common timing is for 3/6/9/12 months.

Bella Baby Photography promotes safe sleep standards. Our photo shoots are conducted with the direct supervision of parents or medical professionals and at no point are babies left alone in an unsafe sleeping position.
