Go elsewhere. Tiny cramped spaces IF you can get one of the owners to actually run their business. We drove an hour BACK the way we came to stay at another rv camp...in the dark in the rain in the cold... after the spot we had reserved was taken and owners weren't available to help figure out a solution. Wish we could have gotten a refund on the gas to drive there and back not to mention the stress of the drive.

Don't even. Cold rainy day And thought we would push through for an extra hour drive to stay here. Knew we would be getting in close to, if not after dark. Owner gave us the spot number and said to call if issues. Got there after dark. Super SUPER small. Rvs that were there we're practically on top of each other. There was someone in the spot that had been assigned to us so we called the owner. No answer. Waited and called again. No answer. It looked like there was ONE other spot open but hard to tell so we called one more time and still no answer. (We had left a message each time we

Great place with Amazing hosts. Perfect stopping point if you are traveling in ND.
The campsites are not super spacious nor have great views, but they have all the amenities you need, it is very clean, the hosts are awesome and you have Mo's Bunker bar 50ft away.
I high recommend staying there a just a stopping point for night or a base camp when exploring the area.

Solid spot to crash for the night. I came here on a whim and luckily they had a cabin left. It's definitely in the middle of absolutely nowhere ND. It's the smallest county seat in the country? The cabin was amazing and comfy- super quaint and clean inside. They also have an awesome bar on site if you'd like to head down into the "bunker bar" for a drink. I'm pretty sure everyone from the whole town was in the bar. Friendly folks no complaints. Saw the prettiest sunset of my life right there at their spot among the grasslands.

It's a very remote little town and upcoming business! Owners are very friendly and helpful. We did an overnight on our way to another western destination. I thought they are doing a great job.

We actually went here to find burning coal vein columnar cedars site. No where on line could we find directions to that site. Eventually we found it on the upper end of Burning Coals campground which is a small state run primitive collection of camp sites. We walked the trail for burning coal columnar cedars and felt like that part was totally worth it, but I love rocks. I wanted to post for others looking for the site.
