Duluth Animal Hospital has been honored to serve our community for over four decades and we have always been dedicated to excellence in everything we do. We are proud that we have received numerous awards, including "BEST OF GWINNETT" award for 16 years. We are greatly humbled by this accomplishment and know our clients are the reason for our success.
We were the first veterinary hospital in Duluth, and the first to receive accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association. AAHA is the highest level of certification an animal hospital can achieve. This means we voluntarily comply with the highest standards in our profession and have undergone rigorous evaluations every 3 years since 1987.

Services
We feel it is important to have a close-knit relationship with our local community. Over the years we have cultivated partnerships with many community organizations such as the City of Duluth, the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, and the Duluth Merchant's Association. We are honored to support the Duluth Police Department by providing veterinary care for their canine unit.
Our team of experienced and compassionate veterinarians will ensure that your pet is getting the best treatment possible. All of our doctors have various backgrounds and specialities, and each will provide stellar care to any animal that walks in the door. Let us help maintain your pet's optimum health at our office with the latest technology combined with experts in the field that have a passion for animal care.
Regular wellness exams are one of the most important things you can do to keep your pet healthy. We perform nose to tail comprehensive physical examinations on every patient, from newborn puppies to elderly seniors in order to monitor their lifelong health. The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) recommends annual wellness exams at a minimum and as your pet ages, they suggest an increase in frequency of visits.
While focus at our hospital is disease prevention and wellness care, you can also rely on the skilled and compassionate medical team when your pet is sick. To that end, an important part of the hospital's practice is the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases that can affect your pet's internal organs and body systems.
Radiographs, or X-rays, are one of the most common and useful diagnostic tools in medicine, because of their ability to penetrate tissues and show your pet's organs and bones. We use state-of-the-art digital radiology equipment which means less exposure to pets, better and clearer x-rays, and the availability to consult with boarded radiologists for a second opinion if needed.

Simply the Best! I feel so fortunate that I found Duluth animal hospital and Dr Niagara. My cat is not easy to deal with and Dr Niagara found a way to get the test that she needed. She and the rest of the staff are kind, caring, compassionate, and above all very competent. It's so obvious that Dr Niagara loves what she does as does the rest of the staff. My experience at Duluth animal hospital restores my faith in humanity,

I had just adopted my puppy and had been referred to Duluth Animal Hospital and I am so happy that I was. They took such great care of my very scared baby. Plus they didn't try to up sell me on anything. Even though I live 20 miles away and drive pass several other Vets on my there, we will certainly be back.

We have two Labradors and this office has treated them since they were 13 weeks old. I find the office admin staff to be friendly and professional. The medical room staff are very good with your pet and the Doctors very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Staff is very nice and treated my dog super well. I took her in on Friday for a Wellness exam and bloodwork, and I got the results over the weekend, so they are also very fast! They also have recommendations on pet insurances. trainers, etc. Very nice team they have!

Dr. Miller and his staff are so very caring and compassionate! My husband and I live in Tennessee. Our dog needed surgery to remove a mast cell tumor with a complete tail amputation, however, our regular vet said that we couldn't get her in for 10 weeks! Dr. Miller was willing to read over the report and results and got our dog in right away! He made sure we understood every step of the procedure and never felt bothered by the many questions and phone calls! We are forever grateful!

I will always be grateful to doctors and staff of Duluth Animal Hospital. My best friend Sgt Peppers got super sick super fast and if it weren't for these wonderful people, he wouldn't be wreaking havoc and be awesome here with me today. That being said, here's my review...
Duluth Animal Hospital is just the best! All the employees are super polite and helpful. If a treatment for Sgt Peppers is advised, it's explained thoroughly and I'm made aware of all the costs associated with it. Additionally, I'm given less costly options if they are available.
I highly recommend Duluth Animal Hospital for
