Getting a new kitten is a very special experience with lots of joy, warmth and laughter. There is a reason why the internet is so full of kitten and cat pictures and videos. Kittens are super fun, loving and entertaining. Kitten care does involve some amount of hands-on attention from human family members.
If you have lived with your cat since it was young then you have a good understanding of what is normal for your cat in the way of behavior and habits. Any changes in their behavior or habits can be a sign of illness. Because signs of illness in cats can be so subtle, even the most astute owner may miss some of these changes especially when the onset is so gradual.

Our pups, Abby and Cooper have been a part of the Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital family for over six years. Dr. Stewart and Dr. Smith are fantastic vets and the staff is caring, polite, friendly and professional. I can honestly say that we have never had an unpleasant experience there.
Kudos to the groomers Rose and Violet. They are very talented and keep our pups looking adorable! In six years neither pup has had a nick, cut or razor burn which is a testament as to just how good they are. If you want your fur babies to have the best veterinary and grooming care possible this is the place to go

My first baby was so sick I had almost given up on him…. I took him to Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital ready to hear bad news…. Turns out he had a abscess on his canine tooth…. I've used this doctors office for my entire life Growing up, this was our vet we always used and I've continued to use them in my adult life. I really like the staff and doctors. Of course, over the years, they've had a change of staff and doctors but everyone has always been very nice and easy to talk to.

Just moved to this area and looking for a good place to have our dog groomed.
Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital is very close to where we live now and with the good rating we decided to give it a try.
I made an appointment over the phone and the experience in person at appointment day is just as pleasant as when I spoke to the office
Thank you for making us feel welcomed and also trying to help Oreo, our dog, staying calm (she does get nervous easily especially with all the fireworks the past few days).
She came home happy with a great shine and wonderful aroma. The price is very reasonable especially

I recently brought my dog here for the first time due to him developing a problem with fleas. They were very quick about seeing me, I barely spent any time in the waiting room. The nurses were very attentive and helpful. Everyone was also really nice to my dog. Dr. Greene came in and did a very thorough inspection. She diagnosed the issue to my dog having an allergic reaction to the fleas. He got his yearly rabies vaccine as well and I was shocked by how affordable it was. All in all it was a great experience. Dr Greene is awesome and I wish I had caught the nurses names because they were awesome

This place in my opinion is absolutely horrible. Please please please don’t bring your dog here in my opinion . I went on vacation and left my dog here for four days. I told them when I dropped him exactly the time that I would be picking him up. When I called to check on him during my vacation, I even told the worker what time I was going to pick… him up and both times the workers said OK. So here I come Saturday between 430 and five like the time I said I was going to pick my dog up and they are closed and now refusing to give me my dog. There’s a worker in there she had to

Mark and I would like to let you know how grateful we are for helping us with our cat Challer. Mark called and explained the issue with our cat and you were very receptive to our needs in taking care of the cat. You were able to get us in to have him seen. All your staff was great and respectful of the cat's treatment. Dr. Stewart gave us great… info about his issue and made suggestions on what they could do that was within our budget. Her concern was to get some sort of treatment for him at best. We all agreed on the treatment and left with a good feeling about your service. We thank you

Founded as Doraville Animal Hosp by Dr. Allen who cared for my childhood pets and our collie after I was married, then I found them in Duluth, he remembered my mother by the pets. Always good, clean, reliable.… Dr. Allen has been retired but I always know care will be good, affordable and never worry when I have to board my pets. My near 17yr old Chug had an infected tooth pulled today....she was also spayed there back in 2006. Highly recommend PHAH.

Can’t begin to thank the staff at Pleasant Hill for the treatment of my slightly “difficult” orange old man. He’s not a fan of the vet ( or people in general) but they gave him the VIP treatment. It’s scary to… take in an older cat with extensive medical issues, but they knew exactly how to take care of him and make the experience as stress free as possible. These women truly are the best of the best. Thank you Dr. Stewart, Amber and Janell. You guys are the dream team in vet care.
