Services
We offer weekly on-time curbside pickup of your trash. Place your filled trash cart or bag(s) at the end of your driveway and our professional service staff will take care of the rest. Pickups are scheduled weekly. Please check the service list for service days for your area. We also recommend that garbage is placed to the curb the night before because the guys do start early!
Leaves, branches plants, grass clippings, weeds, etc. We make yard waste disposal simple and painless. Just place your yard waste in your Herrington's yard container and we will take care of the rest. Pickups are scheduled weekly, please place on the other side of the driveway than trash containers.
We cannot deny the incredible impact and benefits that recycling has on the environment. We're dedicated to reducing the amount of waste that can possibly accumulate by recycling what is collected. With our sisngle-stream system there's no need to sort your items, just place all of your recyclables in your recycling container and set it curbside for pickup.

Ordered weekly trash pickup, can was delivered week one with no pickup. Week 2 no pickup - called office (you cannot leave any messages) and no apologies just are you sure you put it out in time? (Yes, put out the day before). Week 3 pickup at after dark day of scheduled pickup (we were told to put can out night before because hours vary). Week 4 no pickup - called and told them we were done because 2 missed weeks out of 3 is not good service. Was told ok, we will pick up can (again no apologies for missed service). If not accepting new customers fine, but customer service is severely lacking.

Kim is extremely rude and takes zero responsibility for lack of communication and not verifying account information when posting payments to accounts. My service was stopped without any warning and when reaching out to them was told I had a balance on my account and they hadn’t received payment since December. I sent my bank information showing I had paid every bill I’ve received only to find out my payments went to the wrong account. It was of course my fault because I didn’t put the correct account number on my check. I’m sorry but I’ve worked in customer service and NEVER has it been

I called to schedule their services, was told a container would be delivered by march 2nd 2021, Called on the 3rd spoke w a lady on the phone mind you they are servicing approx 15 homes in our condo association, the fees are $15.00 more per quarter than my last provider Republic however the trucks w republic are heavier reason for the switch of neighbors, I asked the lady to return my call when she found out why the container was not delivered she told me i could call her back!?? which then i told her to have a nice day. Sure hope she has a vested interest in this company to be so quick to irritate

Terrible communication and terrible customer service. My auto-pay apparently stopped working, but I did not receive a single letter or email to tell me about this. I eventually noticed the issue and called, upon which I was treated like a criminal who had been caught stealing. When I asked why I hadn't received any communications, I was told that I did and that I didn't respond to them.
I promptly paid my account, and called back, but was still treated terribly by the office woman who still insisted that they did everything correctly and it was just my fault that I wasn't told about my balance

Twice we have not had our recycling picked up. When we contacted the office, it was very hard to get through to anybody. We finally got through by email and received a response with no apology but instead informing us on when we needed to stick our recycling out which we were already doing. We were not impressed with the professionalism of this company. We canceled our services a month ago and are waiting for a reimbursement for the three months we paid for. We are not able to get through to anybody which is very disappointing.

Have had their service for several years. Lower cost. Excellent service. Never had a problem if I had to contact them. Accept both our waste and our recycling. Recommended them to neighbors over the years; most of them switched and are very happy with the service. A service you don't have to think about. They just do the job!!

This company's going downhill - and fast. I'd be surprised if they're still in business next year. Twice now in the last several months they've missed picking up my recycling on Thursday like they're supposed to. Just completely forgotten it. Why am I paying for this service if all they do is drop the ball? I just tried to call their office, they were closed and weirdly there was no way to leave a voicemail message. Can Herrington's Waste Service not afford an answering maching for after-hours calls? They cost maybe 20-30 bucks. The first year or two I had them pick up my garbage I was pretty happy

Wish I could rate with less than one star. If you read below, you will see I am among many that feel this way. All the 4 star ratings MUST be fakes! I started using a different trash service months ago just despite Herringtons poor customer service. They continued to leave my Herrington can at the road without taking it. Everytime I called the office there was no answer. Finally I talked to the trash man who informed me he had a note to retrieve my can. I was relieved and went and got it for him immediately. When I eventually reached someone at the office they charged me over $500 for HOLDING their

Wonderful company. They have fantastic customer service. We have used them for 10 years with no problems at all. In fact, recently I had back surgery and could not get my trash to the curb. I called them and they came up my long and steep driveway to get my trash with no extra charge. Also price is lower than competitors.
