Ross Tretsven, the Owner of Norway Builders Inc., began his career in construction as an 18 year old apprentice carpenter. After working full time for 2 years he went to school at the University of Minnesota where he earned a 4 year degree in Business Administration.
After graduating he worked as a lead carpenter and also built and sold his own house and cabin. In 1988 he started Tretsven Construction and began subcontracting Carpentry Framing and Finishing. In 1992 he incorporated as Norway Builders Inc. and continued as a carpentry subcontractor building upper bracket Custom Homes, but also began doing General Contracting.

Randy and Ross built steps down from a pre-exisiting deck and stabilized the deck down below. We are a general contractor. We do new construction and remodeling of existing homes. We do residential as well as commercial construction, carpentry subcontracting, and design and drafting. Please look around our site and contact us if you have any questions.
We will come up with a scope of work to bid, sometimes this will involve a simple drawing to show the proposed addition or renovation. If that number looks good, and you wish to proceed, we would need to draft blueprints to give you an accurate bid. You would need to pay for these drawings. We can do them or you can hire them out.

My phone calls where returned promptly, the service was performed as described, the cost was the best around (after contacting several companies) and they. Had two egress windows installed in basement.
