Better Built Homes, Inc. is a family business owned and operated by two cousins Jess and Mike Nelson. We are second generation Home Builders. Our fathers were Jacks of all Trades and as young teenagers we began working with them as Laborers and Apprentices in various trades. Together we worked our way from Laborers to Lead Carpenters.
Along the way we learned various trades including framing, siding, roofing, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, flooring installation, and concrete foundations and flatwork. Our early education of many different aspects of home building has provided us with a unique knowledge of the building process.

Better Built Homes, Inc. has been providing Framing Labor to Home Builders and individual homeowners in the Minnesota Twin Cities Metro area and Western Wisconsin since 1997. We are family owned and large enough to handle any size framing project, yet small enough to care about each and every job we take on.
Better Built Homes, Inc. has the experience, knowledge, manpower, and equipment to get a framing project done correctly and on time. Our framing crews are experienced and efficient on new construction, additions, and remodels. We have framed every type of residential building from small garages to multi-million dollar estates and everything in between.
