Coastal Hydraulics is a family owned and operated company. As a former aviation hydraulics mechanic in the United States Navy, the president and founder learned first-hand the importance of keeping equipment online while minimizing any necessary down time. In that environment it's real simple! If the hydraulics don't work, the jets don't fly!
And if the jets don't fly, our nation can't be defended. While business isn't nearly as urgent as all that, we at Coastal Hydraulics maintain a discipline and an attitude that your business is! Founded in 2006 with the philosophy that "speed to recovery" is essential in operating a business today, Coastal Hydraulics is here to serve the Gulf Coast with all your hydraulic repairs and maintenance needs.

Coastal Hydraulics is a source for telescopic hydraulic cylinders. We can meet the demand of any customer's needs. With our years of knowledge, we can discuss your application and provide you with the right cylinder for your application. Often this length does not fit in the machine. In that case the piston rod is also used as a piston barrel and a second piston rod is used.
With our extensive amount of vendors, we are able to locate replacement double acting and single acting rod cylinders with ease. Coastal Hydraulics is also able to design and build custom rod cylinders to suit your needs. Hydraulic fluid enters through a port at one end of the cylinder, which then moves the piston to extend the rod.
Coastal Hydraulics has been catering to its industrial clients since we first opened the doors. We can supply you with the industrial tie rod cylinders for your application. Tie rod style hydraulic cylinders use high strength threaded steel rods to hold the two end caps to the cylinder barrel. This method of construction is most often seen in industrial factory applications.
