Dr. Todd Borenstein is the kind of doctor every practitioner should strive to be. Top in his field, he not only thought of the perfect solution to the immediate physical injury but also considered the entire holistic approach and made sure that post-surgery care covered body and mind. Incredibly thoughtful, he checked in on us constantly post-surgery. I was afraid that the damage to the foot was too severe, yet with his expertise, the surgery came out a complete success. Can't recommend him enough. His support staff deserves recognition as well, they were a delight during all our interactions

My child was referred to dr. Panossian by an urgent care for a broken arm. He and his staff were very nice but he was very rushed. He looked at his x-rays for literally 2 seconds. He casted his arm and pushed the follow-up appointment to three weeks, when he should have been seen in 1 week. He then had his cast re-set at an angle which was very painful and unnecessary as the bone had already begun healing. We went to an orthopedist specializing in pediatrics for a second opinion and had better results.

Dr. Saber saw me for an injured finger, and immediately suggested I wear a forearm cast; which seemed excessive. She also immediately suggested surgery which also felt excessive and totally unnecessary. I argued the case, but she ignored my concerns and who am I to argue with the doctor. They then demanded I get an X-ray AND CT-scan for my finger, but when my insurance denied the request the doctor told me they wouldn't see me further. Literally shut the door in my face. I sought out another doc who told me that the cast, CT scan, and surgery were all totally unnecessary and probably asked

Doctor Borenstein seemed nice/competent but the delays and associated parking costs are infuriating. First appointment waited in crowded waiting room. Then they badgered me with texts confirming my second appointment only to call less than an hour before to say doctor wouldn't be available until later that day and then when I showed up to my rescheduled appointment a week later I waited in a crowded waiting room for nearly an hour before finally giving up and leaving . Of course still had to pay thr ridiculous parking fee!

Hello im would like to start off by saying dr. Rizvi is an amazing doctor if i had to do it again i would save up my money and not go thur la care!
Im a trans women and i was Referred by my primary physician from the LGBT center. I came in for a lipo , tummy tuck and bbl . The surgery was a total success but unfortunately i Developed a Seroma which untreatment can really f up your Cosmetic surgeries and potentially infected your entire system and Possibly die.
It took rizvi staff 3month in a half month to send a request to la care so they can approve it and get my seroma treated. Minded you

This review is for the reception staff (specifically the main receptionist) and the wait times.
The main receptionist (Jeane, I think) is not friendly and was very short / temperamental). She was frazzled and all over the place. Also their iPad application is non-sensical since you have to randomly pick from any option even if the questions don't apply to you. You need to do this so that you can move to the next page.
After almost an hour and a half of waiting, I asked about my appointment again and they simply informed me that my doctor is running late. It would've been nicer if they

If you are just experiencing a minor tear/discomfort or a light fracture (as opposed to needing to do a big surgery) I would recommend you to rethink about your decision coming here.. I went to see Dr Mark Jo once for a discomfort in my knee, waited for 2 hours and he only saw me for 2 mins. I have the ppo insurance plan and I paid $40 copay on this visit and after I did my mri exam, in order to get my results I paid another $40 for consultation over the phone. They can't do anything to improve my issue, and that's fine, I get it. But several weeks later I got hit with another $350 bill

Beautiful facility, great staff and the doctors are knowledgeable, good bedside manners and overall a good experience. Dr Borenstein was and is my doc for an Achilles tear and he's been wonderful to deal with, very attentive. Dave in the office is awesome very friendly and takes good care of every patient.

I have a 9:15am appointment. I arrived at 9:10am, and have been waiting for over an hour. The lobby has been filling up with patients. At this point, I've been exposed to anyone who may have COVID for over an hour. When asked how much longer do i have to wait, the receptionist said that Dr. Rizvi is a specialist so it takes longer. Then what's the point of making an appointment. We are in a pandemic! If you cannot accommodate the patients, do not schedule the appointments so close together!

I came here a few years ago with a wrist injury. Two hand/wrist doctors assessed my x-rays and an MRI scan, and they both managed to misdiagnose my injury.
They told me I needed surgery, but I did not. I went to a different orthopedic specialist in DTLA. After looking at the images of my wrist, she couldn't believe that they were insisting on surgery. She injected my wrist with a cortisone shot and sent me on my way. My wrist has been perfectly fine ever since.
I'll never come back here and would never recommend it to anyone else either.

Came to Huntington Orthopedics after a bad experience at LAC+USC with trying to fix a dislocated finger. Whoever is hiring here knows to select a quirky yet professional staff. The ladies at the front desk are always helpful and the nurses are incredibly witty and fun to work with. Special remarks go to Dr. Rizvi and his medical assistant, Rocio.
The only thing they can improve on is their record keeping, as they tend to mix up numbers and dates for things such as invoices for procedures and services.
Otherwise, much love for Huntington Orthopedics. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Mark Jo and staff are one of a kind. Dr. Jo did my fathers total knee replacement and it went fantastic. My father was walking and feeling great shortly after. The staff has always been so kind and patient with my father who is a talker and can keep the staff listening for quite a while.Thank you for allowing my dad to express his feelings and to be heard during a stressful time. Dr. Jo never made my father feel rushed or unimportant.
