I have had a few different Pain Management Doctors since having lower lumbar pain and Spinal Fusion finding Dr. Stevens was a blessing. He always makes me feel important and like I matter. His compassion and bedside manner is amazing! His staff is just as great. Dealing with chronic pain is a task as it is but having a Dr who listens and cares make a huge difference.

Billing was not accurate, and they just wanted to sell their spinal surgery solution. After declining, they just wrote me off - not dealing with my Chronic Pain. It was very strange as well, every office visit - I was the only patient.

If I could give minus stars I would. Never got past the receptionist. Was treated extremely badly by an incompetent person. If I were dying and writhing in pain I would never even think about retaining their services. They acted as if they were doing me a favor and wanted to get paid up front! Never ever go near this do called doctor or facility.

If I could leave this place 0 stars I would. What a joke! I have never ran into more incompetent people than I have at this place. They fail to inform you that you will not see a doctor when you come in. You will see a Nurse Practitioner.

You will take a drug test which is no surprise, but what is a surprise is that after taking the UA and seeing the NP she then tells the doctor about your pain. You have to wait 7-10 days before they get the results of your UA back, then if the doctor feels like you need medication you can make an appointment with him and he will talk about meds with you.

The business office staff here is the most RUDE power tripping women I have ever dealt with. They have NO compassion for their patients. NONE. I have been a patient of Dr. Vije here for 3 years due to failed back surgery; failed fusion; chronic pain; severe nerve pain. Sadly he left a few months ago and when he did there has been a huge decline in the way the office has run and the patient care that has been given.
I was in an auto accident last year that affected my SHOULDER and NECK not my back and have a pending case with an attorney, I have always had insurance. I have 2 insurance in fact

My mom saw a new NP a couple weeks back. Iv'e been wanting to write a review however, I gave myself time to compose so I wouldn't sound so ugly. To begin with my mom got scheduled in the wrong office and to top it all off no one gave her heads up that the previous NP had left the practice. My biggest complain is not the first two I mentioned. The medical assistant named Lisa really bothered me. She had a bunch of tattoos showing and she was being a bit rough with my mom knowing she is pain. Well my door was not closed all the way and I was able to hear the staff and Lisa has a sailors

Went here again and saw one of the newer physicians. He seemed very knowledgeable and got my pain helped quite a bit. My wait time was longer than last time but I felt my care made up for it

These reviews are a mystery to me.

The staff has been professional and courteous.

Dr. Manees is great.

No trouble with prescriptions.

I couldn't help but post an opposing view.

I first saw Dr. Manees a year ago. Upon visiting he suggested an MRI which included a co-pay of approx. $650 (for me--to meet my insurance deductible.) I passed on the opportunity to find out what was causing my mid to lower back pain, my IT band pain and shoulder issue. Fast forward 6 months, pain got so severe I went back--didn't care about money. Got the MRI which showed I had swelling. Then Dr. Manees administered 6 injections throughout my back. That was such a relief. THEN, as some pain was erased I noticed more specific pain. He ordered an epidural which thrilled me (so much

The south Austin location is horrible!! Dr. Manes is so kind and patient. I liked him but his office if full of ignorant and rude people.
Don't do the urine test because they send it off and the company they use charges $1000 for the simple urine analysis. It has cost me an arm and a leg to go there. I actually asked why do I need to do a urine test when I'm there to discuss injections with dr. Manes and not for medication but yet they still had me do it. Even when I told them I didn't want to get a huge bill in the mail for something I don't need to do.

CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PAIN CLINIC!! This is the most unprofessional, unorganized group, medical or otherwise, I have ever encountered. I have yet to have one prescription called in on time. On the third time this happened to me, even though I had called and had them promise me they would fulfill because it was a Friday and I was anxious of their history, I was left to the point of almost going to the emergency room because I had no pain meds. Thanks to a friend, I borrowed some hydrocodone and made it through the weekend. When I called, they didn't give a damn I was left in that situation

NEVER GO HERE. First of all I had an appt scheduled for the south austin location a week ago. They changed my appt to a week later and NEVER even called me. So I drove all the way from Round Rock to William Cannon and they looked at me like I was crazy and lamely said, "sorry" and I left.

I was upset but I waited and went to the Duval location a week later and Dr.Tameta R Clark, M.D is HORRIBLE. She had the worst bedside manner. She was outright CRUEL. She came in, had the weakest handshake, and acted like I was beneath her. She set her computer up across the room and just stared into
