We were locked out of our new house after just having moved to Beaver a few weeks ago. We called the local hardware store after the other locksmith we had called, which we thought was a local company, wasn't, and was over a half hour past the estimated time. Fischer Hardware was friendly and said to expect the locksmith in ten to fifteen minutes. I thought it was Wayne, but his name might have been Dwayne. Either way, he showed up and had the lock changed quickly. He even matched the front door lock to the backdoor, so now we have just one key to unlock our doors. He was friendly and professional

Hardware stores like this are a dieing breed. But there is no doubt why this one is still going strong. The staff's all around knowledge of pumbling, electric, etc. is unrivaled in the area. No big box store can compete with the wealth and depth of knowledge of these guys. They also carry every screw, nail, bolt, nut and so on the big guys won't carry. Yeah, you may pay a little bit more, but just in the information you'll gain by talking with the staff you'll come out way ahead.
