Since the inception of my law firm in 1999, I have built a relationship with my clients based on trust, understanding, and results. I have guided hundreds through the maze of United States immigration law with a level of knowledge and expertise borne of 19 years' experience in this field. Today, mounds of paperwork have replaced the Statue of Liberty in welcoming immigrants to our borders, but the right help can make the process manageable.
Based in Santa Cruz, but serving clients in the greater Bay Area and beyond, I provide the highest level of service, while maintaining affordable prices and a personal connection with all of my clients. Whether you are checking in about proper submission of a document or trying to obtain citizenship for yourself or a family member, I encourage you to set up your initial consultation today.

Alisa S Thomas is down right rude and disrespectful. Terrible service. Only wants to hear what she has to say with no questions asked. But isn't that why we paid for the consultation ? She doesn't know how to properly explain everything and just wants to charge the highest fee. She has a temper problem. Terrible terrible terrible. Avoid at all costs. I didn't even go through the full process and it already felt like a scam. Taking my mother and her business elsewhere.

So far the services my mother has received from this law firm have been inadequate and not worth the amount of money she asks for and is paid for. Alisa S Thomas and her staff have not been attentive to my mother's case whatsoever. My mother was waiting on her records, which were requested by her office a year ago, a year went by, and she never heard from anyone. They stated they called my mother back in January and there have been no phone number changes and no record of any phone calls. This office either does not care or cannot keep up with the cases they handle which is unacceptable. Also,

She was happy to take my money and then when I called regarding my info she was to busy and then decided to answer my call and screamed at me. I appreciate the advise but I will be working with someone who doesn’t scream at her clients. I can see where the assistants get their attitude when on the phone. If I could I’d give you guys a 0 stars for the unprofessionalism you best believe I would.

The services provided by Alisa S Thomas were subpar and exploitative in nature. Her main interest is not helping you with your case, but rather advancing her personal monetary gain. I have since consulted a real competent immigration lawyer and have been told that the services she provided were nothing more than immoral when you consider her steep prices. Please be careful when consulting Alisa S Thomas as her goals and your goals do not lie in parallel. In conclusion, her services were absolutely useless because she didn't help me with my immigration case and I had to find a REAL lawyer to help

Never before and never since have I received such hideous treatment from a paid professional. I'll never forget how this immigration attorney refused to take my calls to listen to legitimate concerns about changes in the law in 2008, and when I did get her on the phone, she repeatedly interrupted me, asking, what do you want, what do you want in the most horrendous tone. I was able to beg and plead for an in-person meeting and drove 4 hours with my 4-month old baby in the car only to be treated rudely by her and have her tell us everything was fine. Her horrid receptionist (trained well by her
