Lock 'N Key Restaurant
The Atamanchuk family and the entire staff welcome you to the Lock-N-Key where every entree is a "Specialty of the House." Our menu items are made fresh from the finest available sources and prepared with loving care by our talented chefs. Please inform your server of any special request and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If you close your eyes you'll hear the sounds of small waves tumbling on the gulf sand, the clatter of silverware as patrons dine, and some pleasant chatter amongst friends. Went on New Year's eve, as a 21 year old I never expect great service, but our server was amazing and the hosts were wonderful.
There was live music playing and sounded wonderful.
The bar was packed, but that was expected, got seated in under 10 minutes and got drinks within 5 minutes of sitting down.
The food was AMAZING. Loved everything about it.
Would recommend to anyone.

Iconic beach restaurant. Great food. Good bar. Pop in for a drink or a huge meal. Locals love it. Tourists will to. Directly across from a great beach. One of the best happy hours in Englewood.

Bone appetite!

Loved it! Hubby and I went to Englewood beach and I had heard about Lock N Key from a few people at my job so we just had to check it out. First we went to the beach to soak up some sun, then we left the car parked over at the beach and just walked right across the street to check out this restaurant. It was lovely! We sat outside and they had fans blowing with mist so it wasn't too hot. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and checked to see if we needed anything the entire time. I had oysters on the half shell, and snapper in this creamy spinach sauce on a bed of rice, and hubby had a

We were staying in Englewood beach and just walked over to this busy restaurant since their happy hour begins from 11:00 to 6:00pm! Now, that doesn't mean all drinks are less. They have like a game in which you order and they give you a ticket which you open and see what you won. We got there rushing right before 6:00 and then found out about the game. Of course, we lost. Anyways, the drinks were fantastic. These bartenders are the real thing. There's no messing around with silly stuff in which you say, "Oh wow, great!" "Hmmm..." "I think this is going to make

Paige was a great server. The views from the patio are great. Good for people watching. Fresh fish was done well. Their weekly special was the triggerfish. Notable for being a great recommendation from our server, delicious, and a change-up from every other beach front restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Our server was Angela and she could not have been nicer or more attentive. My wife had the stuffed grouper with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. I had the seafood combo (grouper, shrimp, scallops and stuffed shrimp). The grilled grouper was good but my wife's baked was much better. Mac n cheese was ok, but all other sides were excellent. Great dinner!

This is our first time to Manasota Key and we decided to try this restaurant as our first spot, as the menu looked the best out of all the 4 restaurants in the area that Google pulled up near us. It was pretty good food and our waitress was friendly and on top of the service. The boozy drinks were good! My wife had the Huckleberry Hooch and it was better than my Long Island Iced Tea. The twin lobster tails were good but a bit expensive. Overall a good spot in a relaxing atmosphere. I would eat here again!

We stopped for lunch after riding 23 miles on our bikes. It looked like the only restaurant on the Key worth trying, and we're glad we did!
My avocado salad with shrimp included perfectly ripe mango and avocado. The shrimp were cooked flawlessly and the creamy avocado dressing was the perfect finishing touch. My partner had the hamburger which she enjoyed.
Our service was prompt. I should mention the cleanliness and appearance of the restrooms which were flawless.
Great place.

A lot of hype so we went on Friday night. Busy. Food average. Atmosphere average. I'm a LOVER of nachos and ordered their version. They came smothered in a white sauce. Not a speck of cheese. I was disappointed. Had my heart set on real nachos. My wife's boom boom shrimp was described as "ok" from someone who loves spicy shrimp. We were expecting better dishes given all the comments we'd heard from friends and acquaintances.

We visited Manasota Key in January for a few days. Restaurants on the island are limited and they are all very busy. We were able to get a table on the sidewalk on a busy Sunday afternoon. The view here is not that great. You are across the street from the public beach and virtually sitting on the edge of a busy road. Saying that there are huge umbrellas to keep the tables in the shade and the service is pretty good. One concern was that our server's mask kept slipping below her nose which is not the way to wear a mask. I just wish she would have tightened it up! Also, at the bar there

First timer here and had heard good thing. We loved that outdoor seating was available, and even on a chillier day it was enjoyable with the plastic canopies up and several nearby fire pits going! I'd give 10 stars if I could for the fact they had Bogle Vineyards wine on their wine list! That is not common in restaurants, let alone one of Bogle's limited releases that typically only wine members receive (like myself). On top of that was a fun happy hour scratch off at the bar. We scored one glass of wine for 50 cents!!

The food and service is where the four stars come in to play. Decent

I really enjoyed my salad here. The restaurant has a super cool atmosphere with stone walls and plastic shields for COVID. The salad was fresh and the fruit was ripe and sweet!! I loved the blackened seasoning.
Other people I was with did not enjoy their sandwiches as they were soggy so I don't feel it earned the full 5 stars.

I hate when we get to the point where we are so hungry we will go anywhere. This was the first place we had seen on Englewood Beach. The selection was awful and the prices were even worse.

I had ahi tuna nachos with lIke four tiny slices of ahi tuna and a bunch of chips and my hubby had a simple cheese burger. Both were $15 each. Seriously it was garb.

Our server was not useful at all whatsoever. We could have been better without her.

We sat outside. It's right across from the beach. That's the best part. To my surprise, they did a nice job on the inside of the restaurant so I say

I was leery of this restaurant after reading some of the other reviews but I have no complaints after my visit.

For starters, the restaurant has a shuttle for the area. A nice young man came in a spacious SUV and picked up our group of four and drove us to the restaurant.

When we got there, the patio and bar area were packed and I assumed we would have to wait but we were actually seated immediately. Our waitress promptly took our drink orders while we perused the menu.

I found the menu to be a little overwhelming with SO many different options! Everything sounded good. We ordered the oyster
