At Alafaya Center for Cosmetic & Family Dentistry, we treat you like family because we want to be your dental home for life. Our practice is located on North Alafaya Trail, two blocks north of the intersection of E. Colonial Drive (Highway 50) and Alafaya Trail, just across from the Race Trac gas station. We are pleased to provide exceptional dental care to patients in Orlando, Waterford Lakes, Avalon Park, Eastwood, Oviedo, Wedgefield and surrounding areas.
Flu season is back so of course I got sick. Finding a health center that doesn't charge an obscene amount of money to be seen is always a struggle. It was the closest, same-day appointment center I found on Yelp. They take several types of insurance, including mine which only charged a $10 copay. They even have their own app where you fill out your symptoms and payment information right there.
When you're looking for a dentist who has the skill and expertise needed to manage your family's oral health, it's important to find a professional who is current with all the latest dental technology. Dr. Michaelson has spent thousands of hours in seminars, study clubs, and other continuing education courses to stay current with advances in his field and master the newest techniques and technology.

I am so happy with the results of my procedures! After having braces I had some big divots on my front teeth that made me very self conscious. I didn’t like to smile with my teeth showing. I went and saw Dr Michaelson and we decided on the best treatment plan. It included whitening the teeth then having veneers done. My teeth look so good now! I love to smile all the time now showing my teeth. Dr Michaelson does amazing work. The staff is amazing as well. They make sure you are comfortable and have blankets or a pillow if you need them. They make sure you understand every step of what is going

If you are looking for a great dentist and staff then look no further!! This place is amazing and completely dismissed any anxieties i had about visiting the dentist. Everyone that works here from the dentist to the staff is super friendly and will go out of their way to make your visit as comfortable as possible. I have had plenty of work done here now and I don’t have a single complaint.

Had pretty extensive cosmetic and veneer work done years after a jet ski accident. Couldn't be happier with the results and absolutely thrilled with the staff from start to finish. This was well over 5 years ago and the procedures have absolutely stood the test of time. Writing this review now as I had a friend ask for a referral after having a job botched at another office, so here we are! Still happy and referring people years later if that says anything! Thank you Dr and all of the wonderful staff.

I cannot stop smiling! Dr. Michaelson and his team elevated my smile and I have never felt more confident. My friends and family have always complimented me on my smile. Now they are speechless at the flawless new look. My new veneers look and feel as if I grew them myself! Dr. Michaelson and his entire staff are so kind and warm. I always felt my dental care was their top concern and every consideration was made to make me feel comfortable. Each visit became more like I was visiting friends rather than a doctor’s office. During the pandemic my retainer broke. Even thought Dr. Michaelson’s office is only allowed to schedule visits one day a week, I called explaining my situation and they answered fast. In my appointment I felt comfortable and well looked after. I’m so grateful that I didn’t have to wait several weeks or months to get medical attention. Just another reason why I’ve been coming here for years.

Deanna is a phenomenal hygienist and couldn’t have provided a more comfortable experience. Everyone here is so informed, kind, and will answer any questions you have about your teeth. Dr. Michaelson and his staff are not just very skilled, but also wonderful and very compassionate. They fixed my shoe when it came apart during an appointment, and they cried with me when I lost my sweet Ponce. This is also the first time that I don’t dread to have a cleaning done due to my sensitive teeth. Highly recommended on so many levels!

Where do I start with this incredible office... I first want to start with the staff at Dr. Michaelson's office. EVERYONE there makes you feel so comfortable, welcomed, and absolutely fabulous. I love his staff so much!! Now to the Dr., Dr. Michaelson is the most wonderful dentist I have ever had. I was born with very bad teeth and have been in and… out of the dentist all my life. I have seen many dental doctors and no one came close to Dr. Michaelson. He is compassionate, kind, and incredibly talented!! I have been going to the Alafaya Center for Cosmetic and Family Dentistry for years now, along with my sister and mom. We absolutely love it! Everyone is incredibly kind and friendly, and I can tell that they truly care about their patients.
