A swimming pool requires regular maintenance and ongoing treatments in order to keep the pool clean and operating efficiently and safely. Whatever size or type of pool you enjoy, the technicians at Universal Pool Service have the experience and knowledge it takes to provide exceptional pool services.
A $20 extra fee per month will be applied for pools that don't have a functioning cleaner or pop-up system. The cleaning process includes backwashing sand and D.E. filters and recharging D.E. filters with diatomaceous earth. Cartridge filters require us to dismantle the filter and hose off each cartridge element until clean.

I had an issue with my pool. Bryan came over and figured out the issue and it was the underground pops throughout the pool where not circulating water properly causing the pool to be dirty. In addition our filter needed to be cleaned out. Bryan did a great job of explaining the issue. Another guy came over with a great attitude and very knowledgeable a couple days later to do the job. Now my pool is fixed total cost was $666.00 for everything.

Switched over to Universal Pool Service after my previous pool cleaner retired. They did a great job with my pool to start with and they made some adjustments to my system and my pool was really clean for the first two months. Since then my pool has had algae, the pool is left in service mode, they haven't skimmed or done any vacuuming even though that was part of the service paid for. Prior to using them, I never had issues with algae. I let them know and they said they would talk to the technician. Still had issues where they would be there for less than 5 minutes and not even skim

Since I moved down here, I have used Universal Pool Services. I forgot the name of the service guy that came out to work on our pool, but he did a great job. Whenever I call the business, I speak with Jennifer. Jennifer has answered all my pool questions & is a wealth of knowledge about pools. She helped me figure out what cartridges I needed for my pump all over the phone. I will be using their services as long as I can.

We have been using Universal Pools for the past few years for our weekly pool cleaning. At first they seem to be going a good job as they send a nice picture and report every week when the pool has been cleaned. HOWEVER, we started questioning the readings that were being sent on the report and numerous times we have taken our water to Lesley's to be tested and it is not even close to what the weekly reading were saying. Highly recommended. We used Universal for a drain, acid wash, refill, and tile clean. They were prompt, dependable, returned phone calls, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and the pool looks good. I'll use them again!

After having my pool resurfaced by another company, I was excited to enjoy the remainder of summer with our beautiful new tile and Pebble Sheen. Unfortunately, within a week, I noticed the pop-up cleaning system wasn't working properly and spent a few weekends trying to diagnose & repair the system myself (I consider myself a moderately skilled DIY-er). I called them because I was in a pinch, after 3-4 different quotes from different repair companies for a variable speed pump install. The admin staff was super nice, knowledgeable, and the ONLY company that gave me information that matched with industry experts and forums. Their price was super fair, they were really pleasant; NO upsell, NO BS. I cannot emphasize enough how different this was from other companies I've dealt with in this line of work.

I called these guys when my regular pool guy told me I needed a new pool pump due to a leak. The pump was less than 4 years old, seemed odd it was beyond repair. This company came out, gave an estimate for fixing the pump and then saved me even more money when they determined not all parts needed to be replaced. Reliable, showed up when they said they would and very honest and up front regarding pricing. Definitely recommend!

I contacted Universal this morning after reading reviews on Nextdoor neighbor. They responded back within 15 minutes. Came out 20 minutes later and quickly found where the leak at my Hayward pump was coming from. Returned a couple hours later and fixed it. It is rare today to find someone who is not only honest, friendly, knowledgeable but also quick turnaround time. I definitely will call on them again if needed and would give them more stars if there were more to give :)
