Dr. Starling earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Emory University in 1985. Dr. Starling practiced general dentistry for five years before returning to Emory University School of Post-Graduate Dentistry for a certificate in orthodontics in 1992.
Dr. Starling is an active member of many professional organizations at the local, state and national levels, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Society, the Georgia Association of Orthodontists and the Gwinnett Challenge Study Club.He was previously the president of the Georgia Association of Orthodontists and currently serves as treasurer of the Gwinnett Challenge Study Club.

My experience with Dr. Starling was great. He did a wonderful job with my two children so I decided to finally take care of my smile. He spent enough time with me explaining my options and what would be the best treatment plan for me. I decided on invisalign since I did not want to wear traditional braces and I have not been disappointed with the results!! Everyone at the office has been great to work with as well.

We have known Dr. Starling for many years as all five of our children have gone to him for orthodontics. Our youngest and last child is in braces now and finishes up his treatment in about three months. I am grateful to a good friend who referred us to Dr. Starling nearly twelve years ago. Dr. Starling and all of his staff are highly professional and extremely friendly every single time any of us goes for a visit. I love coming here . Dr.Starlibg and he's staff are amazing ! As soon as you walk in you get greeted with smiles and friendly staff . And dr . starling has a great smile him self , he and his staff explain very detailed of the procedures and help you understand what's best for you . I ended up doing the invisible braces and I'm very happy with my results I also took my son and he's recommended not to do them now until all his teeth came out , I thought that was very professional and sincere. Thank you Dr. Starling and staff you guys are the best !

I have been coming to Dr. Starling for many years with my 3 daughters. I agree the staff is wonderful. I disagree, however, about the previous review about Dr. Starling himself. He has always been wonderful to us and has always explained exactly what the procedure will be and what the outcome will be. I have never had a bad experience at this office The procedures have been what was explained and what was expected.
I have never waited more than 10 minutes to get in to out appointments. I recommend him to many of my friends, and know that many have gone to him, with no complaints.

Dr. Starling has been an exceptional orthodontist to both me and my son. I have a younger son who will need his services and I would not go to anyone else. He is very caring, listens, and makes common sense decisions. He has a gentle touch that I feel is important in this line of work. Together with his staff he develops a plan and communicates them with you. I have not had my braces for close to two years and I am still very happy with how my smile turned out. The staff is professional, caring and makes you feel at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Starling and his team.

Words cannot describe the outstanding care my daughter, Meghan has received from Dr. Starling and his staff over the years. Dr. Starling is very educated and his work is exceptional!
