Incredibly professional and knowledgeable. We brought an old lamp in to get the cord repaired, and not only did he do that, but he also noticed the part the bulb screws into was corroded and fixed that. It was all done in a day, and we could not be more thrilled with the result. Thank you so much for bringing our sweet old lamp back to life!

I'm so grateful to J&C Lighting. This chandelier has been in my family for 100 years. Jorge was so meticulous and careful. He knew exactly what to do and he did it. He rewired, cleaned and polished the chandelier perfectly. Celia found the perfect replacement shade, light and globe as well as matching crystals.
They are fair and honest. The work was completed in an astonishingly short time.

We contacted J&C Lighting for replacement shades for our chandelier. From the beginning, Celia Soto Hay was very helpful and patient and raised some factors that we had not considered in designing our custom shades. Her knowledge and experience were very beneficial as we selected our custom material. In the end, Celia and J&C Lighting made the shades to our specifications and actually included workmanship that we had not considered but will help extend the life of the shades. I drove over 30 miles to have J & C repair my lights. A table lamp was repaired; in addition to replacing the burnt out part, they did some extras such as replacing a pad and doing some extra cleaning. A piano lamp that 2 other places told me couldn't be fixed, was repaired and looks like new.

J and C Lighting refinished a brass floor lamp pitted beyond salvage, I thought!
When it was returned, I was amazed. It looks like a new lamp. I was particularly delighted because lamps like it are impossible to buy now.
A table lamp that I had repaired recently is now stable, with a socket that is secure, not wobbly.
I urge you to have your lamps repaired here. You won't be disappointed, and you won't have to shop for new lamps.

Excellent lamp repair service! I am so happy to have found Jorge and Cecilia. J&C was able to fix my problematic touch-control bedside lamps-- after two other shops had told me that they were unable to do it! J&C offered friendly, professional service, they completed the work in less than a day, and the price was reasonable. When I requested that they transform my lamps from touch control to a switch controller, they listened to me and gave me a couple of options to chose from. Plus they gave advice on the proper bulb to purchase so as to avoid future problems. I will definitely be coming

I'd give 6 stars if I could. Brought them a large 1950's aluminum chandelier with tons of components which was in dire need of complete rewiring...they told me they would have it done within a few days, which was fantastic. THE NEXT AFTERNOON they called to tell me that it was finished - not only did they rewire it flawlessly but they also cleaned it and fixed a couple of the small components. The price was also totally reasonable. They have over 25 years experience with lighting. They realllllly know what they doing. Just trust me, these are your people! I will be back again for sure

I am so grateful to have found this place. They took excellent care of my antique "Gone With The Wind" lamp. This is a family heirloom and something I adore. They cleaned the glass and gave the electrical system an overall. They switched out the old plug, socket and bulb for a new, safe LED light. It's like a new lamp again! I highly recommend them!!

Jorge worked a miracle on my lamp repair! After one lighting shop said the repair could likely not be done, Jorge did it in an hour or so. The turnaround was one day after receiving the lamp for repair from the other vendor. Wonderful to deal with and very friendly. They will get all my next lighting business.

I am a fan of this company.
I started with an old lamp that needed repair that I couldn't just discard.
With out any fuss , they repaired the lamp ( an expensive lamp). I than had some hard lamp shades on other lamps that had cracks and breaks. Same thing , they researched and found a solution as well as slightly modified my existing lamps to make sure everything fit and were structurally correct. I went back again to have a dimmer on a floor lamp repaired. In addition several lamps on sale our now on my list to get eventually. They go the extra mile.

Complete restoration of antique brass Chinese lamp. It looked fabulous! Also needed another repair, fast and reasonably priced....have one more antique pierced hanging lamp that needs their special touch. I even bought a new lamp from them. We went to price a replacement for a lamp that hangs over our dining room table. The owner advised us to repair instead of replace. She saved us lots of money and did the work much faster than expected. The repaired lamp looks and works better than new. It was a great experience. Very knowledgeable, helpful, professional service.

I inherited several valuable antique lamps that needed extensive repairs - new wiring, new sockets, lamp shades, etc. I accidentally dropped and broke the ceramic base on one of these lamps as I was bringing it into the shop for the electrical refurbishing! Jorge picked up all the many pieces of broken ceramic and said not to worry, he could fix it like new. When I picked it up I was absolutely amazed, it was beautiful and put back together in perfect condition! I could not even tell where he repaired the broken base, he is a genius! J & C Lighting does beautiful work, Jorge is a gifted artisan
