My purpose is to help you discover your inner wisdom and your greatest teacher - your Self. Knowing who you are and learning to live in alignment with your true self is one of life's greatest joys. When you are suffering emotional pain it can be difficult to tap into your inner wisdom. Instead, the negative 'voices' that habitually demand your attention gain power.

We all have a host of negative characters in our inner landscapes - these might be the voices of shame, fear, blame, judgment or despair. Whatever the source of your suffering, you don't have to face it alone. Together we can access your innate wisdom and let it guide you through life's many passages.
Services
I meet you where you are, to build safe and trusting therapeutic relationship in which personal exploration can deepen, giving rise to fresh insights and new ways of being. Through inquiry and expression, I help you explore aspects of yourself lost through trauma or socialization, and retrieve the missing parts needed to relieve suffering, improve functioning and quality of life, and ultimately, to blossom and thrive.
Relieving suffering, making meaning, finding purpose, and experiencing curiosity, connection and joy are just some of the reasons you may pursue therapy. Psychotherapy provides a space where you can experiment with new possibilities and ways of being. It's about being more alive and vibrant by coming to terms with pain and loss so you can participate in the beauty and abundance of life.
Ultimately, therapy is about transformation. It's about changing the things that aren't working for you and discovering new ways of being. It's about expanding your consciousness and realizing your potential. I've worked with people at various life stages seeking to better understand who they are, why they do what they do, and how to 'BE' in the biggest sense of the word.
Successfully navigated, trauma can be an initiatory force pressing us to grow past our fears and limitations. In these cases, the trauma gains a life of its own. It grows inside the psyche and holds us prisoners of our past. The extreme fear, isolation and despair of the original event lives on, often startling us with its voracity and persistence.
Almost everyone suffers from anxiety at some time or another. Technically, anxiety is an abstract fear of something that has not yet happened - but tell that to anyone who suffers from anxiety and they'll tell you that it's real, right now.

And its symptoms are real - the pounding heart, shortness of breath, stabbing chest pains, and racing thoughts of a panic attack, or the dull dread of something not quite right or missing in your life that accompanies you through your days.Either way, anxiety robs you of your vitality, and saps your sense of hope and joy.
